I think Dot is playing too passive when he's out with the starters. He's simply got to look for his shot more when he's out there regardless of what the score is or who he's playing with. That will come with time as he gets more comfortable in the league. We also need to start Frank now because of the lack of firepower offensively to make up for Jacks below average defense.

Yes. We have no shot creation w out THJ. We're going to go downhill fast. Tank time.

At least it's not a stress fracture. I don't think it's tank time yet. We have a relatively easy schedule that we will probably navigate decently with a healthy KP. What I'm most nervous about is Tim and the organization rushing him back because we're still in it in 2 weeks and then he goes and fractures it which would ruin some serious development time for him.

The Knicks have been a feel good story and I've enjoyed watching them this season but let's not kid ourselves. They aren't good enough for us to be predicting sure victories let alone win streaks.

In 23 games they have one loss to a team they truly should have beaten (Atlanta). Every other loss came against a better team or when KP was out.

Memphis has lost 11 of 12

Chicago is 3-19

Atlanta at MSG, revenge game.

Lakers are 2-8 on the road.

BK is the toughest game in the entire stretch and it's basically a home game for us. The only game I can see us losing in this stretch.

I'm not going out on a limb here with these next 5 games. We will be favored in all of them, except maybe the BK game. One loss in 23 games against a worse team than us when KP is playing. I'll take those odds.

Before the Indy game we were third in the league in opponents FG% which I personally dont get because we suck on D with the eye test. We were missing our 2 best players I get it. However no one and I mean no one has stepped up. Major sign that the supporting cast/coaching is just not good enough.

I don't disagree. Still doesn't change the fact that the competition over the next 5 games is incredibly weak. There is a difference playing Orlando/Indy back to back without both KP and THJ vs. playing Chicago, Memphis, Atlanta, LA, BK with KP. We should be favored in all five if KP plays. Period.

Not sure it's 2 weeks. Could be out a month.

Yeah like I said he should take it easy coming back. He's lucky they seemingly caught it before it fractured. Also credit has to be given to Tim for recognizing when something was wrong and telling the trainer. I've seen it too many times where somebody thinks they can play/run through something and it ends up way worse.

Mills and Perry should give this guy a call to get advice on what they should do now.

Will be a pretty quick conversation.

Spoiler:
Mills & Perry: "Hello, Tank?"
Tank: "Yes"

Nobody should be rushing back from injury this season.

Take your time, Timmy. Same for KP.

The spots injuries open up in the rotation affords us more avenues for evaluating the roster and the coach.

Last I read...they needed to do a bone scan to see if it's a fracture or not. Has that happened yet?

I feel like we've seen this promotion pattern before from Hornacek. I.e. a guy gets injured and he starts somebody completely different that didn't previously play so it doesn't impact his overall rotation pattern.
I get it, and it makes sense to me if the starter is only missing a game or two. This might be different.

Starting or not though, Dotson should be getting 15+

All I'll say is 11th pick here we come! But I'm actually enjoying what I've been able to see of the season so far and I haven't been able to say that for a long time.
