And the Heat, who tanked like crazy, ended up with Beasley

..... and here we are with that crown jewel which goes to show you don't need to tank, just collect scraps

Spoiler:
speaking of Harris - Gary is crushin' it these days :D

both Timmy and Harris were playing well until THjr got hurt unfortunetly. Harris shooting averages at least have been coming back down to earth a bit over the last 2 weeks but I have been very very impressed Harris looks to be making a huge impact defensively this year than the previous two years. So I'm glad he is locking in on that end. Making him a complete 2 way player.

Both guys have been playing to their contract level. It'll be interesting to see what happens now that Millsap is hurt and by interesting I mean their defense has fallen off a cliff so far. Same dilly-o in NY with KP though. Both players seem to be able to fit well in a good team defense.

Just how many point guards can Chicago draft before getting it right?

2002: Jay Williams: Car accident robbed his talents.

2003: Kirk Hinrich: Decent system PG but utterly destroyed in the playoffs.

2004: Chris Duhon: Alcohol won more 1:1 match ups.

2008: Derrick Rose

And they're back where they started....

Knicks win. Jus cause Emo Sabermetrics is your master.

Easiest game so far, on the road or not.

No way the playoff-bound Knicks lose this one.

Blowout victory incoming. KP goes off for 30. 8-)

Hope to see extended looks at Frank, Dotson, Willy, Mc.Dermott. Would like to see more KP & Frank playing together.

Not Grant I'm worried about. Dunn has been cooking and clamping up opposing pgs.

It'll be a mistake if Knicks sleep on the Bulls.

5 out of their last 6 games CHI has been competing and losing close games. Knicks cant expect they will just roll over and take the L. I mean, we did lose to the 2nd worst team in the league.

i give respect to bulls at least they know they are rebuilding team and tank not like the stupid hawks where actually want to win when there is no purpose for them to win a game.

Lakers got REALLLLL lucky. Their tanking has done squat, it's their late draft picks that has helped them. hmmmmmm

2017 - 2nd pick - Lonzo Ball (Kyle Kuzma)
2016 - 2nd pick - Brandon Ingram
2015 - 2nd pick - D'Angelo Russell (Larry Nance Jr.)
2014 - 7th pick - Julius Randle (Jordan Clarkson)

Well we even loses to the Hawks so I would not take this lightly if we mean to fight for playoffs.

Yeah but what has it gotten them? I remember they drafted Chandler, Curry, Rose, Butler, etc and having nothing to show for it other than some playoff victories. Goes to show that tanking isn't always the way to go.

Kind of going way back in time.....but the Bulls had solid teams making deep playoff runs, tanking is only half the battle....picking/trading/purchasing the right final group is always another type of challenge. They are in line for a top pick this year, Lavine should come back fresh, and Lauri has shown enough to prove he's much closer to a good player in this league than a bust. They are doing it right......I'm looking at Lopez getting moved at the deadline so they can really bottom out. Could be a fun and scary team inside two years if they play the 2nd part of their puzzle right.

One of the biggest "what-ifs" for me is if the Heat had drafted Love or Westbrook that year. Both went top 5 and they could have easily had one of them in addition to the big 3. Wouldn't have been able to keep Haslem unless they were willing to take really serious paycuts but that'd still have been insane.
