We need to win tonight and that DET game Friday is a pretty big early season game. We are 1/2 a game behind them for the 4 seed.

Westbrook is taking chucking to another level 38% FG. Funny how routinely ESPN show how good Chuckbrook is highlighting assists and rebounds when he is taking up to 20 shots per game. Shooting 38% from the field is being overlooked

They have a stake in promoting him after voting for him as MVP
If he flops the season after saying he was the best player in the NBA they look stupid

Because now he's chasing triple doubles instead of organically going for it.

ESPN President John Skipper resigns, citing substance abuse
http://espnmediazone.com/us/press-releases/2017/12/news-regarding-john-skipper/ESPN President John Skipper announced today that he is resigning from his position, citing a substance addiction problem. Former ESPN President and Executive Chairman George Bodenheimer (who worked at ESPN from 1981-2014) will serve as Acting Chair of the company for the next 90 days, overseeing the transition process.
Below are quotes from Skipper and Bob Iger, Chairman and Chief Executive of The Walt Disney Company, as well as bios and photos of Skipper and Bodenheimer.
Statement from John Skipper, ESPN President
Today I have resigned from my duties as President of ESPN.
I have had a wonderful career at The Walt Disney Company and am grateful for the many opportunities and friendships. I owe a debt to many, but most profoundly Michael Lynton, George Bodenheimer and Bob Iger.
I have struggled for many years with a substance addiction. I have decided that the most important thing I can do right now is to take care of my problem.
I have disclosed that decision to the company, and we mutually agreed that it was appropriate that I resign. I will always appreciate the human understanding and warmth that Bob displayed here and always.
I come to this public disclosure with embarrassment, trepidation and a feeling of having let others I care about down.
As I deal with this issue and what it means to me and my family, I ask for appropriate privacy and a little understanding.
To my colleagues at ESPN, it has been a privilege. I take great pride in your accomplishments and have complete confidence in your collective ability to continue ESPN’s success.
Statement from Bob Iger, Chairman and CEO, Walt Disney Company
“I join John Skipper’s many friends and colleagues across the company in wishing him well during this challenging time. I respect his candor and support his decision to focus on his health and his family. With his departure, George Bodenheimer has agreed to serve as Acting Chair of ESPN for the next 90 days to provide interim leadership, help me identify and secure John’s successor, and ensure a smooth transition. I am grateful for George’s support and look forward to working with him again in this temporary role.”

I remember watching this game when I was younger and getting chills down my spine. I will always remember these plays from Kobe, for some reason it's engraved in my memory probably because of how incredible they were. This was like the definition of will power. Guarded by the "Kobe stopper"Ruben Patterson, LOL, he pulls this shot out of nowhere to send the game to OT. Then in double OT he hits a ridiculous fadeaway jumper that just rips the net and wins the game. Oh yeah and the 2nd overall seed was on the line too
Unreal
