Bittrex and Binance are the 2 popular ones. Neither are perfect, I'm on bittrex but there are more options now then there used to be.

This is a little old but a good starting point..

That video was on the really basic stuff, but I looked at his channel and it seems like he's doing well now. Have you been following him for a while? What's his story? Why is he credible?

I own a few bitcoin.
Bought them on the cheap years ago. Best investment of my life.

Buy what? There are plenty of altcoins out there that people should be buying right now.

Understand the fluctuating stability of crypto-currency as you invest though. Selling is better than buying at THIS particular juncture but once again, you're not a client of mine. My clients are busy selling and heading to the bank.

I've been in cryptos since 2015.

1 - 1.5 years after Mount Gox was the defacto bottom of the current market.

I've made 10x my investments minimum.

I’m looking for investments in block chain technology.

Nothing in the currency in my portfolio at the moment though.

I'm terrified that you have "clients" and make blanket statements/advice such as "don't buy any cryptocurrency right now".

I got in with Cardano and Ripple at under 25 cents and will probably buy more of both. I sold most of my Iota but still have a fair amount, I'm still undecided on it long term. NEM and Stellar are two others I'm looking in to.

This chit is like gambling lol. Its really good to do though.

Buy low, watch it grow, sell. rinse repeat. Thats the formula I see people using.

I like how you guys call it "investing". I'm a former professional poker player and forex trader. I know gambling when I see it.

If folks truly believe in crypto long-term and thus have the stones to hold for many years I think people will do surprisingly well. At this point, I don't see crypto going anywhere and think it's still very early in the game. Look at the Internet, it essentially took 25 years for it to really take off. We're a decade into the lifespan of crypto and we're just scratching the surface of the real-world benefits being realized.

I think things will really get interesting when the masses realize bitcoin's limitations and start looking further into altcoins. I'm not saying anything earth-shattering here but bitcoin will only be a store of value long-term, it's chances of being a currency are dead due to high fees and slow transaction times. Early December when there were over 150,000 unconfirmed transactions, just ridiculous...

It's all gambling. The stock market is gambling. This is no different.

I have some play money in there through coinbase. It's been a few months. I'm up. It's extremely volatile though and I would definitely recommend people invest only what they don't mind losing.
