Kemba is not an elite level, or even an all star level player. He will not change the fortunes of the franchise. There is no reason to waste assets to acquire someone who is 28 years old with no room for improvement in his game that will not impact our win totals now or in the future.

It'd be fine if we had a ton of extra pieces to move, but we just don't. If he wants to be here he can come of his own free will.

Nobody taking those trash contracts. Hey isn't Steve Clifford supposed to be an awesome coach and yet they're worse than us...

He's missed a lot of games this year with health issues. He's a terrific defensive coach.

exactly my point why would we want him on this team so i would not offer crap for him he is not young enough to fit the future plan and does not bring enough to the table to make this team better

why would we want kemba on this team other then he is from NY? does he make us a contender? No then why shoudl we give up crap for him . In other words we do not need or want him. Is he under 25 nope, has he lead his team to winning yrs in Charlotte?
We are better off trading Lee for a picks and cutting noah loose on a buy out. We need a small forward in the worst way

i disagree

and if you dont have a top 10 PG in this league you dont have a chance

we really need to invest in that position

through the draft, free agency and trades
we need to upgrade and we might need to do it in stages

like trading for Kemba and then moving him with another piece for a true elite

like what Boston did when they overpaid for Kyrie
