Damn

Agreed - the problem is a lack of hierarchy moreso than total amount. A lot of 7-10 men type of guys.

i doubt they guaranteed him minutes. we probably just guaranteed his contract for the year. the g league don't really pay well.

He was going to sign elsewhere, he has options.

Options where he also wasn't guaranteed any minutes

it doesn't even say he was gonna sign elsewhere. it says, even if he had other options he would prefer to sign here. he's already in westchester. probably has been in contact with some people in the front office for a minute. i'm sure it's easier not to leave.

Control your erections. This is the same league that got Jimmer 21 ppg. I hope Trey does well because we need depth and talent on this squad but for him to quickly jump into the rotation is a bit optimistic. If anything, Dotson should be next man up to get minutes.

BTW how is Burke's defense?

Maybe they can trade Sessions for a couple cases of air inflation needles?

More like used medicinal needles, and even that might be too much.

I actually feel there is more than a decent chance Willy gets traded, then we sign Burke.

Maybe its Willy and Sessions in a package. Knicks can easily just cut Sessions now, but they could be close to a deal.

What erections? Who's saying he's going to jump anyone? We're just happy that Sessions is finally cut, even if it is months late.

lets be real with Jeff trey is going to be the 3rd point guard that will only get garbage time minutes.

Jeff ain't moving jack away from that starting role until we are totally out of playoff hunt.

Even though I dont believe he will have a big impact, it is better to have him on the roster than Sessions. Made 0 sense to have 2 vet PG's on the team.

Made no sense at all.

Vet PGs get hurt. That's why. It happened to us countless times in past Seasons.

We finally have a scoring threat who can drive & dish, it's what Jeff has been hinting at for weeks. And he's a great 3pt threat.

So the board is more happy that Sessions is getting cut than getting Trey? Really, I think they are happy that Trey is coming on board and already wanting him to be the backup PG.

It’s already a done deal. I’ve known since yesterday. Just waiting on the roster spot to open up. Trey had interest from more then just the Knicks.

Nobody expects Trey to get minutes unless Jack gets hurt, which will likely happen because he always does...and, if that does happen, it also means more minutes for Frank. Unless I missed someone, nobody in this thread said they're expecting Trey to take anyone's minutes NOR is anyone really excited we're signing him because it's him (besides reub).

The agreement to sign him might already be in place, but im talking more about the potential trade to create the roster spot. Thats what I believe what the Knicks are waiting on. If they cant agree on a trade by a certain date, then they will just cut Sessions.

I think it's established he under-performed his first years in the league...has nothing to do with his talent and where he's at today.
