The Minstrel Show is one of my all time favorite albums. Little Brother dropped so much fire.

R.I.P. Bender former KOTD champion, master of multi's and one of the best pens in battle rap. His rap group also had some drops I could actually get behind.

You know what that first track was?

Royce has definitely had one of the more intriguing rap careers to say the least. In the beginning of his solo career, he was generally plagued by some sub par production and always chasing an album that would make the studios happy, that generic sound. Rock City, Death is Certain, Independents Day while all solid albums, never blew up. Yet when he got a track from Primo on them, they were crazy hits.

It's crazy how that year in prison just made him focus and he's been killing it for the past ten years now. The Bar Exams mixtapes, joint albums with Eminem, Slaughterhouse, Primo...

I only imagined what could've been if we got Bad Meets Evil album when Eminem was actually on his EM ish.

Ahhh. I had gave a quick skim through searching for that song on what he dropped the other day, that's why I couldn't find it.

Yeah man, Royce has had an interesting journey with the ups and downs. He always felt a bit underrated (I'll take Royce's verses on the Renegade original version over Jay's personally) to me. It's great that Em helped him with his sobriety and an interesting juxtaposition. I feel like Royce post-addiction is at his peak whereas Em lost a bit of his edge post-addiction.

Without a doubt, Jay got bodied by both of them on that one. Give me that original Bad meets Evil, Scary Movie, Rock City etc and I would've been happy. Em post addiction, me personally not the biggest fan. You could take the best songs from Relapse, Recovery, MMLP2 and Revival and it would be a great album but there's so many duds. Where as Royce started dropping the Bar Exam mixtapes and he was an absolute monster. Not to overlook, Primo everyone knows helped him a ton but Statik helped big time as well.
