frank has double the assist ratio that mitchell has...how can anyone legitimately tell me mitchell is a better passer.

and for any of you "raw" stat guys. Frank avgs more assists per game in half the minutes that mitchell does with less significantly less usage....but mitchell is the better passer? out of your minds

mitchell offense is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ahead of frank in terms of scoring but cool the jets on mitchell playmaking abilities ...he's a small 2 guard.

Sometimes I feel like people are watching different game. Hardaway has been legit for a while and people need to give him more props.

Eh not really. He kinda has tunnel vision in terms of passing, he only looks to pass in a direct line. His awareness of shooters is still not there and his instinct to set them up is still not there. His lack of offense also doesn't help to suck the defenders in on his drives, rarely do players come off shooters to stop him from penetrating.

If you watched how Mitchell was setting up his shooters last night, it's like night and day between him and Frank

i disagree 100% mithcell is a 2 guard playing in a points body. Mitchell makes completely reckless decisions. Frank is a better passer than mitchell. Mitchell gets assists because he can break down a defense with his explosiveness but in terms of making good play making decisions he is not that good.

Mitchell will never be able to play full time point...he's a 2 guard with some play making abilities.

Cmon bro, you're joking right?

Mitchell is better than Frank in every aspect of the game right now, playmaking and passing and decision making included.

nope, and I have every stat in the world to back up my claim.

Yeah, the guy is a good scorer, but he's not a good playmaker

Look at his stats compared to Rose and Westbrook in thier rookie years

It's not even close, and Rose and Westbrook aren't even pass first guys

there pretty much on par with each other. But your changing the goal posts, i completely denied the idea that mitchell is a better playmaker for teammates and passer.

Jack is much more of a scoring threat and plays alongside KP and Kanter so yes Jack and Frank actually have similar usage and both have assist rations over 30

Jack turns the ball over less because he is a better ball handler at this point. So I ill give jack that...better ball handler more offense abilities leads to more assists but we are talking pure passing? Franks made more "nifty" passes than jack has this year.

Let's be honest, Frank's biggest issue is he thought NY was like FRIENDS.

It was my first time in America, and my idea of New York City was from like hip-hop videos and the TV show FRIENDS. My brothers used to watch that show all the time. Joey. Monica. Chandler (Chand-leur). Sitting in the big coffee shop. I always loved the idea of America.

i pay plenty of attention...he's a small shooting guard. Its damn insult to d-wade to think they have similar playmaking abilities for there teammates.

Mitchell is an explosive 2-guard

Honestly I think he’s solid but Mitchell doesn’t do tons for me. He’s an undersized 2, a tweener who can do most things well but nothing spectacularly.

And that’s not based on his last game. He has nice reach and impressive layup skill. Not quite spectacular but very good. Fairly smart and NBA ready. Good shooter but not transcendent ever.

He’s kind of just filling a hole well. Not a major plus starter.

Return to New York Knicks
