Offical 2018 TANK Thread (currently 9th, 4 GB top 5)

Post#1 » by Kristaps6_NYK » Sun Feb 4, 2018 7:54 pm

Ight we're pretty brutal. Brutal schedule coming up. I'm making this thread to discuss the other teams in the top 10.

We're 3.5 games behind Chicago for 8th, 4.0 games behind 5-7, and 5.5 for the worst record.

Right now I think Orlando, Brooklyn, Lakers, Memphis and Chicago are better than us.

Taking a look at the schedules Orlando, Memphis, Nets have a much easier schedule.

I can see Atlanta and the Nets winning 8-12 more games more games because they both have great coaches with high energy players, they can maybe slip in the standings. Although Atlanta is pretty bad they probably won't.

We have some vets.. Kanter, Beas, Timmy and Lee. Young guys like Frank, Mudiay, Dotson, Kornet, and Hicks.

Tim sucks, inefficent, and doesn't play a lick of defense. Kanter cant defend. Beasley has a brain thre size of a squirrel. Jarret Jack should be retired, but he's starting LOL. Jeff is awful. At the same time these guys can get hot. But I truly think we won't win more than 5 wins the rest of the way mainly because of Jeff and our schedule.

G: J. Jack | F. Ntilikina | T. Burke | E. Mudiay
G: T. Hardaway Jr. | E. Mudiay | F. Ntilikina
F: C. Lee | L. Thomas
F: M. Beasley | L. Kornet | I. Hicks
C: E. Kanter | K. O'Quinn | L. Kornet

REMAINING SCHEDULE
@ IND
@ PHI
vs. WSH
@ ORL * Winnable (Gordon, Fournier, Simmons)
vs. BOS
vs. GSW
@ LAC
@ SAC * Winnable (Randolph, Fox, Buddy, WCS)
@ POR
@ MIL
vs. TOR
vs. DAL * Winnable (DSR, Barnes, Wes, Dirk)
vs. PHI
vs. CHA
vs. CHI * Winnable (Lauri, Lavine, Dunn)
@ MIA
vs. MIN
@ WSH
@ CHA
@ PHI
vs. DET
vs. ORL * Winnable
vs. MIA
vs. MIL
vs. CLE
@ CLE

Our remaining winnable games we could easily lose because they just have better players.

I think we lose both Philly Games and the Bulls game at a quick glance depending on who is healthy for either team.

I put into consideration home and away. I think Orlando beats us next week, they're home, have a good starting lineup.

bruh we had the easiest schedule for the first half. This has to be the most grueling second half. We get a stretch of a few winnable games and that's it.

Baring a trade that changes that, we couldn't beat a Kyrie less Celtics OR the League WORST Hawks. :nonono:

We're not going anywhere near ,500 bro.

Good thread because this is what was on my mind

I think we have 7 winnable games left
@magic
@ kings
Mavs
Hornets
Bulls
@hornets
Magic

Every other game should be a guaranteed loss and we could lose a couple of those 7

30-52 or worse. Hopefully worse. Lose them all.

28 remaining schedule..

I predict the Knicks go 5-23 in the remaining schedule. At this point the Knicks give up, more injuries and fatigue occurs. BUT there's always those hero type games. But the Knicks schedule is so brutal I doubt it.

The Knicks finish 28-54 (26th in NBA)

I've got us with 6 wins (see above).

Do you mind adding a poll or should I do it? Could do it by like 2(?) game intervals.

God, I hope you are right.

Still, Knicks screwed up the year with 5 early wins too many
