Are we sure Isiah Thomas doesn't still have influence at MSG?

Here's the difference:

This deal was more like trading Nazr Mohammed - a decent role player with limited upside - for two years of Curry on a rookie scale deal. Even knowing how it turned out with Eddy, that's a deal I still would support. A good risk - and I'll die on this hill regardless of whether Mudiay pans - manages the liability side as well. Isiah NEVER did.

Oh, absolutely. Isiah overcommitted resources to GET Curry and $ to get get Jamal. This is a low risk/high reward move and in that regard I like it. I also stated at the time of the Melo trade that splitting Melo's one deal into two, one fairly large - Kanter, and one decent player on a smaller, decent, short term deal - McD, would give the Knicks extra trade flexibility. I'm pretty psyched they went and used it and in a good way.

Word. Just how he did for Isaiah Thomas and Goran Dragic. Good thing they got him outta there before he could ruin ‘sure thing’ Devin Booker.

I don’t know what planet I’m on when Jeff Hornacek is this basketball buffoon people make him out to be. By this impossible criteria people float I wonder who’s a good coach. I hate some of his decisions. Big time.
I actually think we are gonna hire either Mark Jax, Fitz or Doc. And I’m ok with it. But we know Jeff is likely doing what is being asked of him rotation and minute wise by the front office. I’m sure he isn’t given total autonomy in those areas. So when there’s no Wily or he pulls that madness he did the other day not playing Frank and Mud heavy minutes, it annoys the hell out of me but I’m not gonna pretend I know more basketball than Jeff Hornacek. You gotta work with what you got. Right now our record is very much a reflection of the roster we have. I don’t think Pop could do a better job with this roster.

Ok. Maybe Pop but nobody else.

He developed amazingly for what the Knicks need him for, he is the best tank commander in the game
