hicks is a 5 win cf going forward. pretty ideal approach and strong batted ball profile.

Outside of the lefty swing - which pretty much every kid does born in the 80s/90s tried to emulate, there’s no reason to put hicks and Griffey in the same sentence

Yankees prospects are slipping away from the Mets day by day. They better make a move before they go to Baltimore.

I'm in no rush. The phone is ringing off the hook. Red Sox are interested in a 3 way with another team. And Houston has Verlander, Cole, Keuchel, and McCullers. Tick tock ...

And the Mets have... hmm... I think your clock is stuck there.

Honestly, I'm on the fence about making any trades right now unless some team makes us an offer we can't refuse. I don't trust our new GM, Jeff Wilponzi. He's such a douche bag. If Bruce and Cespedes can come back healthy for next year, then maybe we can turn it around. But we'll have to be aggressive this offseason and spend money. I don't see the Mets doing that especially after losing Cespedes for all these games. Last year too. Manhattan Project mentioned something about him wanting to move to 1B. I can see it now: In spring training he tries to make a stretch on a play at 1B and tears his hamstring.
So who are you trading for JA Happ?

JA Happ might as well go to the Mets for all I care. If he's not on my radar, he shouldn't be on Cashman's.

Then who? You guys can't go forward without making a move for a top tier pitcher IF you have World Series aspirations this season. But I can also understand if you guys decided to stand pat and take your time. See what happens this offseason.
