real talk i have a friend who's works at nyu video department, his student visa is about to expire in may and will probably get deported unless nyu finds a way to keep him.
so if you know how camera's operate a position might open up in may.

NYU's Shanghai campus has an open tenured track position open in transportation engineering

well he got the job because he worked for a bunch of mtv shows. like 16 and pregnant, etc.
he didn't get it willy nilly, he got it because he knows what to do.

LOL at thinking you can go straight to Ivy League tier schools. You need to start out at a CUNY first.
