Svi Mykhailiuk. Major sleeper in the draft.

6’8.. can shoot the **** out of it.. put the ball on the deck.. super underrated athleticism.. solid on defense..

Has Klay Thompson in his game.

Good shyt man.

Knicks need to see if they can snag him with one of their 2nds.

Idk if he’s a pure shooter but I like this guy (think I’m the only one) and would trade Lee for a pick in the late teens to get him

I like him too but more like a solid bench scorer than a starter. Reminds me a little bit of Marco Belinelli just taller and skinnier.

If we stay in the 7-9 range here's my list:

Mikal Bridges: Love how much of a jump he's made in 2 years. That shows a dedication to the game. Knock down shooter strong defender. If he learns to create for himself watch out.
Collin Sexton: plays aggressive and constantly in attack mode. Actually attempts to draw contact. almost won a game 3v5 shows he's not a quitter. Improved shooter from the beginning of the year. Looks to score more that pass when he gets into the paint.
Trae Young: Only if the first two are off the board. Good passer and shooter but I worry about him dealing with longer and better athletes in the NBA. Reminds me a little of Trey Burke actually.

Need to send Besart to Draft Lottery as Knicks representative so he can threaten to detonate himself unless given #1 pick

Sexton's jumper really has looked a lot better recently. Looks a lot more fluid than it did earlier in the year. I also noticed he's not taking those 10 second pauses at the free throw line where he tries extra hard to concentrate, that bothered me and it showed a lack of confidence in his shot. Now he looks a lot more confident in his shooting, albeit it's only been something I've noticed recently so I'm not sure if it's something that's going to remain consistent but still it's something.

I see him that way too. The first back up at the 2/3. Potential 6th man candidate, which I think is fine when you’re picking in the late teens.

Keep the religion garbage out of this thread.

Also, Svi is a damn good shooter, but he provides little else. Kansas has been playing him at the 4 this year to help exploit mismatches.

Also, Huerter>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Svi.

In the next two weeks the Mavs have the Hornets, Nets, and Kings. I think we have a decent chance at making it to 7.

The task force created by the Pac-12 Conference in response to an FBI investigation into college basketball is calling for the NBA to end its “one-and-done” rule, among other recommendations announced on Tuesday.

Commissioner Larry Scott created the 12-member committee in October after the federal indictments included assistant coaches from USC and Arizona. On Saturday, Pac-12 presidents and chancellors unanimously approved the 50-page report and recommendations.

The final report was forwarded to the NCAA commission created to address the same topic.

“The reforms proposed by our Pac-12 Task Force will help preserve the integrity of collegiate basketball and provide the choice, education and protection that our student-athletes deserve,” Scott said in a statement. “We look forward to working with the NCAA Commission, our fellow conferences, the NBA and its Players Association, and other key stakeholders to bring about this much needed change.”

The task force called for the NBA to follow the model of major league baseball in its draft by allowing players to be selected directly out of high school. Those who are not drafted would not be eligible for the draft again until following three years of college.

Another recommendation was to create an independent office to conduct NCAA investigations and determine major violations. Currently, the NCAA enforcement staff handles those duties.

The task force proposed a change in recruiting to have “regional combine events” take the place of AAU tournaments run by shoe and clothing companies in the summer. It would also modify the recruiting calendar to forbid coaches from attending any other high school tournaments in July.

The conference also called for schools to fully disclose all terms of their shoe and apparel deals. The other recommendation is to create educational programs for recruits and their families to get clarification on recruiting rules.

“Now is the time to step up and make changes to both restore trust in our game and protect the best interest of our student-athletes,” said UCLA athletic director Dan Guerrero, a member of the task force.

“We need to reform our rules, strengthen their enforcement, and rebuild confidence both in the integrity of our sport and of the educational mission of our universities.”

Thank goodness we have chis 2nd

I’m terrified we’re pucking 9th and getting Trae

I’d really like to move up and land porter or bridges over him

And of course picking huger would be a dream

I flat out REFUSE to believe that!! Not saying you're wrong... just refusing to believe it! As I stated - I think he's going to struggle against NBA guards for at least 2, maybe 3 seasons and even then - I think his ceiling is more aligned with DJ Augustin than that of Curry.

Honestly, it's unfair to even mention him alongside Curry. Curry's a generational talent... his handles alone are sick and his shooting just adds to the greatness.

No you’re right. The Knicks are a sf away from competing, they shouldn’t take the best player available, just the best sf

Who's the best player available?
