He need to mind his business for once. Hornacek don't speak on issues involving Pistons employee or player history.

Give Stan some love. He's close to being fired by the Pistons. The game has passed the Van Gundys by.

Stan needs to question his roster construction.

Dolan is stupid, but I don't know that he's stupid enough to hire Pat with the way this team puts coaches through the ringer. you really want the GKOAT to go out like the other coaches who have coached this team have?

There is probably something to it. Dolan is petty and known to hold grudges.

Grunfeld was fired in 99, JVG quit in 2001.

The guy quit on us 19 games into the 2001 season. He's also freely admitted that he regrets the decision. Stan just needs to stop talking and worry about his team.

It stings coming from a guy not part of the org but what he's saying is accurate. Ewing looks pretty competent, how does he not even get an interview or an assistant job? Granted I think his style is more suited for college but other orgs manage to bring their greats into the fold better. Knicks don't. It is a reflection of the owner IMO.

Here we go defending nonsense.
When do we really start looking at the reputation this ORGANIZATION holds around the league. Players, coaches, agents(I know a few). They are not fuqing with us.

My point stands. Before he quit, he got Grunfeld fired. Is your issue with my use of the word "right"?

Doesn't remove the fact that he cost us two job positions. Maybe even three if you count the trickle-down effect of Checketts.

JVG knows this, which is why he has since apologized and said he regrets his decision to quit mid-season.

That sucker move falls just short of Pat "the rat" Riley's fax. Players will have their entire character questioned and career derailed for quiting on their team. Imo, it's even worse when a coach does it.

Besides, I'm not even sure he can coach offense in this day and age. Even during his hey day he was criticized for whack offensive schemes and iso Ewing/Houston/Spree. He's an excellent defensive coach tho. Especially implementing a defensive scheme that funnels shots off the line and into the bigs.
