If we got Sexton, I think they could play together provided they both keep working to perfect their shooting (which I think they’ll both improve on in time).

I like the idea of having two creators in the lineup... I think KP would benefit a lot from playing with them together.

As far as the defensive side, either one can guard the 1/2. Sexton is tenacious and big enough at 6’2” or 6’3” with a long wingspan and he’s as strong as a bull.

they fit for sure but it living up to its potential comes down to sexton changing his game otherwise all i see is ntilkina sitting on the perimeter waiting for a pass kind of like how he played with burke..

if he doesn't then mikal will drop to us. so i think we're in a good position right now

This is just like last year. If people are concerned one prospect won’t be there at 9, another one will drop and be available. If it’ll come down to Sexton, Mikal, and Carter, sign me up for any of those three. Even if Carter’s fit with KP isn’t 100% ideal, you take him bc he’d probably be the best talent available.

dude has been doing that way before burke came along. remember how we always used to make jokes how he would not dribble past the 3 point line? always give the ball to a lance/beasley iso.... etc

We just need a team to take Young and we are good. If someone takes Carter in front of us as well even better

Anyone who can be a top6 player in a championship roster.

In this draft I see at least 10 players who could be at least team's 6th man

I agree. He has all the physical tools of Dennis Smith jr without all the question marks that made me hate Dsjr as a prospect.

Lead team to a winning record
Didn't sulk and quit on his team
Went hard every possession ala Kobe and westbrook
Strong leadership qualities
Good defense
Good size (Dsjr looks closer to 6'1 while Sexton is probably 6'3)
Strong midrange game and potential to improve his 3 pointer (shot 77% from the line while Dsjr only shot 71% FT's which is a strong indicator of how much a players 3-point shot will improve)

3totheheadmelo please pretend you didn't see me write all that lol

Win, win situation it sounds like...

Honestly, I'm digging the trade back for Clippers picks scenario. We grab SGA and another and keep the build going. Now you have Frank and SGA causing havoc with all that height and length as interchangable playmaking guards, and get a second player like Robert Williams, Lonnie Walker, Zhaire Smith,... Kevin Knox along with that.

Top 10 is stacked, but this could be more of what we need.

I hope people realize that BPA is a matter of opinion. Following a Mock and thinking well who is slotted here would be BPA is false to a NBA team. Dennis smith was a BPA and did not go till after Frank for a few teams. Just remember BPA can also be Kevin Knox to the Knicks office.

With a better coach, that shouldn’t be a problem.

you in the minority though. most of us think that DSJ is a better prospect than him. plus he had a solid rookie season this year. his numbers are super identical to westbrook's rookie year. him and ben simmons are also in small company with HOF'ers to put up at least 15/3.8/5 as a rookie.

for the last 2 months of the season he averaged 17.1 points and 6.5 assists on 42% FG. i told you that boy was getting better.
he's gonna be real nice.

Burke didnt help the development process it just further stunted some of his growth relegating him to be a spot up when he could of been having valuable minutes at point guard. I dont view ntilkina as just a 3D player if he's going to play next to another guard it should be somebody thats going to let him do him. sexton is a high usage on ball point guard with a big ego that has a faulty pass button and shot selection thats why i say it comes down to him changing up his game He has the talent level to balance it out plus average alot more than 3 assits if he wants too.
