They had a chance to makeup for the terrible offseason signings from a couple years ago when they gave Evan Turner that terrible contract by having a strong draft last summer. They were sitting pretty with 3 first round picks and desperately needed a stretch 4 and I remember having discussions with Blazers fans telling them they need to draft Kyle Kuzma. Some of them wanted DJ Wilson. For some reason they decided to package two of those picks to move up and got Zach Collins, who was a nice prospect but not really what they needed. The Caleb Swanigan pick didn't make much sense for them. They had a chance to add some real depth and failed miserably.

Now that I think of it, they moved up to 10 to get Collins but they could have added Donovan Mitchell. Then they passed up on Kuzma by one pick. Could have had both :banghead:

I knew literally nothing about him but the people that were talking about him described a player I would want so he intrigued me. But I didn't speak on him other than to say I wouldn't speak on him iirc.

I maintain my position on Frank vs. the other two guys. If he works out to his full upside that's a starter on a championship roster right there. His length and IQ are things you need to disrupt in this nba.

Lakers have to put in a call for McCollum this off-season right. Ball and him is a much better fit. Lillard needs 3 and D around him and a rim running center.

Trust the process. Took a little while for Embiid to get into the flow of the game but once he did, it was over for Miami.
