Wow. Someone compare that to the vid last year where he was doing the same drill with Hardaway, and you can definitely see that his handles are improving.

I say his 3rd season
I have modest expectations for him this season, but even if he exceeds them, the usual suspects are still gonna pretend like he isn't improving
I think he takes his big leap next offseason

Keldon Johnson/De'Andre Hunter

I agree, I think he makes nice improvement next year, a significant one since last season was ehhh. But year 3 and 4 he makes a big jumpK-DOT wrote:Tron Carter wrote:frankie gonna have so many people eating crow next season I can’t wait.

Gotta love Frank quietly grinding it out in the gym. In every clip I've seen of him he looks stronger, more explosive, and more refined in his skills.
Very excited to watch his progression unfold

That's like a martial arts horse stance exercise. Not only is he getting his dribble to compact and accelerate he's doing it so he can execute it from any stance. That is an excellent exercise and bodes really well. He's going to be a physical load.

He's got the tools the team just has to be patient and help build him. At this point he is truly a ball of clay. Hopefully he is using his friendship with Mitchell to challenge himself to get better.

Re: Frank Ntilikina - Rookie Year
From the Reddit write up:
Frank Ntilikina is extremely young compared to his fellow NBA players. His birthday is July 28th 1998, and was the youngest active player in the NBA last season besides Indiana’s Ike Anigbogu. In American terms, Frankie Smokes entered the NBA essentially straight out of high school, with a lack of high-level experience and an undeveloped body for the league. He sported a very thin frame, and had never even started lifting weights until joining up with the team. Here are some fun facts on Frank’s age:
• At the start of the 2018-2019 NBA season, Frank will be younger than Freshman lottery picks Deandre Ayton, Mohammed Bamba, and Michael Porter Jr.
• You think Ben Simmons shouldn’t be considered a rookie because of his red-shirt year? Frank Ntilikina was younger at the start of his rookie season than Ben Simmons was, not at the start of the 16-17 season, BUT AT THE START OF HIS LSU SEASON.
Those expecting Frank to become the savior of the Knicks in his rookie season were deluding themselves (see Kobe, T-Mac, Giannis rookie years), with only LeBron James giving meaningful production at such a young age. What Knicks fans instead were looking for were flashes that this kid could maybe turn out to be a star in the league some day. Let’s get into the tape.

That guy clearly has been around the Knick message board universe and summed up all the angles.
