Knicks should be looking at saving cap room, and not giving out contracts to players like KOQ, Favors, or any other role players.

What does Favors give us that KOQ doesn't for less money? Can Favors pass like Kyle?

Who the hell do you guys want? Kanter has to go right? Favors is only 26, defends and puts the ball in the basket. He’s a good player. The Knicks need good players.

For players better than KOQ and Derrick Favors.

I happen to think Kyle's an excellent value at $8M/year.

Sure on a playoff team that's a great value. On a **** 30 win team, it's a waste of cap space.

I would be ok re-signing KO and then trading him to a playoff team. If we have an opportunity to accumulate assets at a good value, we shouldn't shy away from that.

Is Nerlens Noel available for the right price?

I'd be interested in finding out. I'm not saying he's the answer but if guys price cheap, at his age I wouldn't mind giving him a shot

I don't get why peoplee wanna draft the same skillset. I'll stop short of saying potential cuz obvious you expect Wendell to be better down the line but essentialky you're drafting Wendell to do exactly what Kanter and Oquinn do. Be an undersized C next to a 7'3 PF.

Not the end of the world but not ideal to me at all.

i'd rather keep him, as a mentor/lockroom guy/environmental change guy. but if he's desired, very highly, i'd be ok with trading him

Kyle O'Quinn would do all New York Knicks fans a favor by opting out.

Not good defensively. Limited offensively. Scott Perry tried to shop him at the trade deadline, the guy makes only $5M/season and NO ONE wanted him.

Open up some cap space, let the G-League All-Stars develop. The Knicks are going NOWHERE next season.

Yeah but he'll be expensive. Knicks are better off for next season just sucking and saving the cap money.

When you're surrounded by sh*t, decent seems like gold. KOQ is just a nice player.

Took me like 10 seconds on google, from around the deadline says that several teams are interested in KOQ, most notably the Warriors

Just cause you don't want certain players doesn't mean no one does

Where’s Derrick Williams again? Yet another “asset” overrated by the Knicks and their fans. Think I saw Derrick parking cars at the new Whitney
museum.

I'm not even the biggest fan of the kid. But When you hear about O’Quinn looking for 30 million, and Kanter may opt out, it just leads me to believe we're gonna be in the market for a young big this summer.
