terry stotts likely staying with the blazers via stein.
https://www.nytimes.com/newsletters/marc-stein Throughout the Blazers’ first-round sweep by New Orleans, there were rumblings around the league that Stotts’ job was in jeopardy and that teams such as Orlando and Phoenix were ready to pounce if he indeed became available. But that talk has largely quieted since Portland’s early exit.
The latest word in coaching circles is that the Blazers prefer to keep Stotts heading into the final year of his contract — as they should.

Its not ideal or easy, but its still probably the best situation available. Giannis is a huge selling point.
May get torched for saying this, but I think Giannis's style of play isn't suited for playoff basketball... Teams condense the floor and make it harder for him to drive and score at will. He's not as explosive in the halfcourt as a Lebron is for example. He obviously still has room to grow but it seems like every playoff appearance Giannis seems to struggle to elevate his team's performance like the true superstars do...
It’s a fair point especially after that game 7. Celtics had a great plan and execution. But he had some dominant games and will learn from this. You could also look at it and say Giannis just needs the right coach to take him to the next level. Even Lebron was critized early in his career for playoffs.
Giannis def needs to work on the shot, but he still has best player in the league potential.

Celtics take away the transition game. That's where you see guys like Giannis and Ben Simmons dominate.

Nice to see that Stotts isn’t being fired. He didn’t deserve it at all. It’d be a way for the FO to save face.

If the knicks hire Bud it would be applauded by everyone not named Steven A Smith. I think Its time I hit up shams's thread. Although Blaat aint bad I feel like with Bud out there you cant choose Blaat.

I don't think he has a shot, but it's a good look from the FO to kick some tires. The new friendier NY Knicks.

After Mike D'Antoni and Mike Woodson, Knicks need new first name. Hence Budenholzer will go to the Bucks.
