Which Players Will Benefit The Most From Fizzy's Hiring?!

Post#1 » by magnumt » Fri May 4, 2018 1:48 am

For me, it's:
    • Porzingis (Big who can hit Perimeter shots and Defend)

    • Dotson (Big wing who can hit Perimeter shots and Defend)

    • CLee (Guard who can hit Perimeter shots and Defend) - Assuming not dealt right away

    • Ntilikina (versatile Guard who can Elite Defend & a Scoring threat)

    • Mudiay (quick Guard who can defend, possibly Tyreke Evans role)

    • Burke (quick Guard who can Score, I see him and Mudiay playing a lot together, or Burke & Ntilikina playing a lot together off of each other)

    • KOQ - I think we keep KOQ now. He's a Udonis Haslem hustle role clone. Less Scoring, but more Blocks

    • Kanter - Same. I think we keep him now and utilize the ZBo role for him and turn him into a possible 6thMOY candidate or have him lock up the Paint as a starter (18 & 11 very possible).

if his plan is to eventually move KP to the 5....then I will start to believe in the vision. He wanted Marc Gasol to shoot 3's he now has a 7 foot rim protector who can do it at a great clip. Now we need to get tough on defense and rebound collectively because KP isn't a great rebounder.

Frank. Cause Under Fiz he will have to be agressive. I can tell Frank responds to toughness and a challenge. He will be pushed like never before in his basketball career.

Trey will have a career year next year.

Basically anyone that can play defense and shoot is going to flourish.

Just look at Miami. they overachieved the last 2 years and those are the types of players that were successful.

If he can convince KP to be a full time center then there’s your answer.

If not, Frank.

I thought Burke got after it defensively, as Horny liked to say. He fought hard over screens and got into the passing lanes. To me, Mudiay was a complete disaster. I'd rather have Jack as our third strong PG than him. My hope is that we can somehow move him in a trade with CLee over the summer or at the trade deadline.

Other than that, I think Manny is great.

No reason to.

If he comes back at say $15-$17 Million per for 4 years, I'm Gucci with that. He's a 18 & 11 threat who can pass. For that price, it's a STEAL!!!

Dominant Post guys are NOT easy to find these days.

I think we roll with KOQ & Kanter (plus Kornet) in the Frontcourt Rotation until Porzingis comes back.
