Switch warren for josh jackson and make they take lee and Hardaway for Knight and Dudley and maybe we have a deal

dont get too greedy. #1 alone for KP is tempting enough

Fine just throw in Jackson with the number 1. I mean KP has proven if healthy he can be an allworld player. I'm just scared he went to the Melo school of Leadership. I think a change of scenery might do him and us some good.

With the 9th pick in the 2018 draft, the New York Knicks select a player that will be worse than the next few players chosen after this pick and a player that will be out of the league in 5 years.

I'm so with you man. Wish that would happen. I dont trust that KP will be the franchise player. too concerned about his injury potential

Bulls fan here would love to give you #7 and 22 for him :)

1. Phoenix Suns - Luka Doncic
2. Sacramento Kings - Marvin Bagley III
3. Atlanta Hawks - DeAndre Ayton
4. Memphisn Grizzlies - Jarren Jackson Jr.
5. Dallas Mavericks - Mohamed Bamba
6. Orlando Magic - Trae Young
7. Chicago Bulls - Wendell Carter
8. Cleveland Cavaliers - Mikal Bridges
9. New York Knicks - Michael Porter Jr.
10. Philadelphia 76ers - Lonny Walker
11. Charlotte Hornets - Collin Sexton
12. LA Clippers - Miles Bridges
13. LA Clippers - Zhaire Smith
14. Denver Nuggets - Kevin Knox

**Notes:
•I think Sac ends up taking the better fit with Bagley, it's not like Bagley or Ayton are premiere defensive players, also the Kings have Harry Giles, who can become a legit player.

•Carter and Lauri can become a legit duo as a PF/C combo. Bulls can realize next year is loaded very talented wings/guards.

•Cleveland takes Mikal over MPJ due to risk. Mikal could be a nice piece for the Cavs, if Lebron is still there. If Lebron stays I dont think taking a huge risk on MPJ is ideal.

*MPJ falls to NYK. Very risky; go big or go home type move. Even more risky with having KP and his knees/being injury prone. I would take the risk, because no other player outside the top 3 is more talented when healthy. You take the risk. You have the chance to potentially develop a duo of Michael Porter Jr. and Kristaps Porzingis, or both ending up being totally **** with injuries.

I doubt Porter drops to us. However if he did, we should take him

If MPJ is there at 9, you take him and dash before someone calls the cops.

Dude is the truth. Sad he got injured, but he's still young enough to strengthen his back. Reminds some of a young Amare before his knees gave up

Who cares? Coach Bud going to the Bucks means the Knicks are looking at being, what, the 4th seed in the L-East for the next 5 years?

At least, hopefully, the regime will be patient but it's laughable if anyone thinks this team is doing anything or making any noise for at least 3 years, and then it's probably a first round exit team for a bit. Maybe by then Boston or Philly does something stupid or has injury issues, because without that, I have a hard time seeing how the Knicks even get out of the 2nd round even 4 years from now.

Knicks need to do their homework on MPJ. If there is any long term injury risk, PASS!!!

When one team rises another will Fall. Teams nearing the end of their window - Toronto, Washington, Cleveland

No need to be so reactionary.

Rather have bud go to MKE than Toronto where that'd all but confirm us being fourth in the Atlantic division forever.

We are not lucky like Philly.

And Embiid still scares me. I think he's a ticking time bomb.

Why is Porter jr. even considered in top10? Because of his highschool hype?

Isn't dudes story similar to Gilles from last year? He also was amazing in hs, then sucked in collage because of injuries. And got picked 20th.

Knicks will lucky to be 4th. More like 5th when Chicago, which looks better already, will be ahead of us also.

I'm just sort of in a bad mood today, but this isn't really any different feelings from what I've had since last year. The team blows, Phil set the team back several years in the rebuild. The good thing he did was not dealing picks. IF this front office can stay on that track, at least there is a small glimmer of hope the team won't totally suck in a few years. I was all for Phil getting hired as I figured he'd bring in a system where players shared the ball and played defense, plus I figured he knew talent and team oriented players enough to be able to build a team. Instead he showed the same lack of player assessment and inability to manage salary as every other GM/President the Knicks have had for 20 years, making his first mistake in resigning Melo, then doubling and tripling down on trying to "compete" with the signing of CLee (not a bad deal in and of itself) and the horrendous Noah deal. Now it's 30 million dollars of "meh" for a lottery team. Then Mills comes in with his "hold my beer" moves and ties up another 22 million between THJr and Baker.

Looks at this squad: Noah, THJr, CLee, Baker, LFT: Off the top of my head, that's 56 million. Half the cap on that. Unreal. Way to go Phil\Mills.

Perry better be a miracle worker. Honestly, he's starting with one hand tied behind his back for two years.

Mocks are all over the place. I saw one with Mikal falling to 10. We picked Carter Jr in that one.

If we take a guard I will flip out.

Seems so. I also dont want a guard. I'm a Frank fan, plus Mudiay still has potential as does Burke who was fire

I really like Carter as a 5, but dont see him as a fit with KP defensively, so it comes down to the Bridges who I go back and forth on each day

yes, my view as well.

I'd hate to be in a foxhole with some of you muffagahs. We need to nail the picks, continue utilizing the Gleague, and exercise some patience. If that's too much for you to deal with, go bandwagon jumping like Q2Nate or whatever his name was.
