Timmy makes 1 million a year less than Klay Thompson. Let that sink in for a second. His contract is a glaring problem.

next year i klay will be making a lot more!

The Nets will probably get one of Wall or Beal or maybe even both but definitely one. I don't think the Knicks will be in on either one.

Would you trade Mitchell for Kuz? Will Porz play as a C or PF when he returns?

i was a huge wall fan coming out, but it make zero basketball sense for this team to go after him. ZERO. i kinda feel the same way about beal too although he is younger.

As a fan, not knowing how KP is recovering, I think I'd hold onto Mitch for dear life

Even assuming KP recovers fully, the idea of having him or Mitch protecting the rim 48 minutes a night is extremely tempting. With the potential for them to play together for extended stretches if Robinson develops well enough to warrant more than 20-25 minutes a night...meaning Mitch becomes good enough to successfully switch onto perimeter guys (a la Capella), and he shows some aptitude as a floor spacer...negating a lot of the worry of any "redundancy" or "logjam" that could be created with two high upside 5s.

Yeah, I love Beal too. But we have Tommy, or Tammy or Timmy on any given night. J/K, I'm digging Timmy. He's really improved his play.

Seconded

Stars will get traded. That much is made clear. This wave is not our wave. We still in cocoon faze.

After KP returns and we get this high lottery pick we will be in a similar situation to Minny (albeit better) where we can make a splash in FA and then trade some of these young pieces for a star/support players.

Until then we wait and see what pans out with Frank/Trier/Knox. Maybe package 1-2 with a pick for a 2nd tier star next year/when the time comes.

And Mitch? he remains untouchable. The kid is going to be so good for such a cost controlled price...

Beal - to me - is someone I would consider pursuing if we were not giving up much. I don't see that happening, but - if for instance - they only wanted expiring, I would give up cap space for Beal. I think he's a top quality 2G.

You can't say that you're perfectly fine with something that is a fantasy. The tank ends when KP gets back, whether we make any moves/signings or not.

Why? how good is this team with KP who will take a few months to rebuild his confidence and game even when he comes back.

KP with a bunch of kids doesn't win that many more games
Kp made us a .500 team. Kp does make a big difference. Kp should sit the season out. Like david Robinson did so the spurs could get tim duncan.

This Washington situation is making trading wings difficult. Its the butler situation all over again. Beal will set the market . Damm
