The supposed future face of the franchise/potential leader of the team has no interest in associating himself with the organization during the offseason. Difficult to build around that. He's not an established player and teammates wont gravitate towards someone that doesnt associate with the team.

For a rebuilding effort it'd be nice to have all hands on deck to build the "culture" or whatever we want to call it. He pulled the same crap last offseason with skipping the meeting.

Yet, the team had no problem gravitating towards him last season either.

The team stunk

I bet they would have made the playoffs if KP had just attended his exit meeting

Possibly.
Phil would have likely been here to make some more moves.

Just wondering where the notion that NBA teams had the best doctors in the world came from? If anything, its proven time and time again that teams really fumble player rehabilitation.

Check the draft thread. Bamba has a lot of heat right now.

I know exactly “who” he is.

Now to your question....

No you don’t. The only extremists with Melo are his haters. That’s why they blame entire teams performance(when bad) on him alone. What you think about the Knicks this season?

Shooting less than 10 times in a game will never trump a dude taking damn near 50 shots. That won’t register to you unless it’s KP. Then you sound just like me.

He needs help
He can’t do it alone
Get better players
Where’s the damn PG

Funny thing is I’ve always viewed this a as a plug and play type of thing. No matter who the best player is here they will all run into the same things until the Knicks as an organization fix their roster building skills.

Marbury

Melo
KP

Doesn’t really matter. The Knicks are bad at building teams around guys.

factually incorrect, we aren't talking oncologists or gp, we are talking sports medicine. medical staff isnt league specific, the knicks lead doctor, Dr. Lisa Callahan oversees the rangers, liberty, and both knicks. More so she was also the head team physician for the last 2 Olympic teams I believe

if you want to add the word "historically" to what you said I'll agree with you, but this is an entirely new management team, and I think proven otherwise we have to give them benefit of Doubt and refrain from bashing them

WTF does Lincoln have to do with anything? Bad comp.

Entirely new when Mills has been here forever and Perry was brought in last year?
