Let see if he can get Frank to attack and finish in the Summer league.

Smart was gone before Klay was even drafted. Therefore, I don't think Smart should get credit for him. Now if you want to credit him for the first Warriors run during the Nellie era, that's a different story.

Under Smart's 1 year as HC, they improved 10 games....we as Knick fans know how hard that is to do. They actually went backwards a year under Jackson.

Article about how they wanted their guy in Jackson;

They hit in the draft, similar to what the Spurs have done and boom they are contenders. Can we find that stud this season to catapult this franchise?????

I was just referring to the point you made about how Keith Smart was responsible for the rise of the Warriors. Curry was the only player that remained from the squads Smart coached/was assistant coach for. There was no Klay, Draymond, Iggy, etc. Mark Jackson was involved with that run. In fact, Smart was merely a transitional coach anyways for that one season with the new ownership in place. The 10 win improvement was kinda expected since the prior season was a huge disappointment anyways.

Is there any reason that you think that fizdale can't do that himself?

That's a pretty dumb question to ask. It's a program. It's not a weekend course. He's going to need good assistants who are able to dedicate time and effort into individual guys weaknesses. It takes more than one guy.

Thanks for taking the time out of your day to answer my dumb question with your thoughtful and detailed response.

The truth is, this isn't going to be a PhD course in layups that these guys are going to be taking. There's no reason that Dave can work with guys individually during training camp and quickly improve what they're doing. There's also no reason that Dave can't tell his assistants what he wants them to teach. You're acting like this is rocket science. It isn't even close.
All in all he's just another prick with no wall
