so, we were about to slide and homegirl gave the disclosure. and it was so clean and rehearsed, i knew she'd given it before. again, i respect this. she told me she had a single lesion down the back of her throat and that it was not active, and hadn't been for years. and of course the plan was to at minimum... you know. i think she was also trying to put on the table skipping the toppy and going straight to super smash brothers if that would have made me more comfortable. instead, i kind of sobered up quickly and gtfo.

i say that to say... i was not trying to chance getting burned once i had the knowledge, even if there were evasive strategies.

happily married today and glad these kinds of interactions aren't part of my life anymore.
