Should be noted that this whole situation could have been avoided if Phil gave him proper contract actually utilizing a smart CBA manipulation that most teams give to second round picks and undrafted / G-League guys.

but even then, with where we are as a franchise and what free agency is like this year, we really shouldn't be trying to make any big signings this offseason anyways
