Ron Baker has picked up his player option for next season

Most of the people who whine about Baker were the same dudes who were geeking out over the Rose trade. Some people just put more stock into brain-dead, no defense, Iso back court players I guess.

Frank and Baker were by far our best perimeter defenders last season, and were great when they were on the floor together. If Fiz practices what hes been preaching, Ron is gonna see the court a good amount.

I never understood why people were always complaining about Baker. I liked what he brought, but I thought he was just being asked to do things that she shouldnt have, but thats not his fault. I wisnh we could have seen him get some time with Burke. I really liked the defense with Frank and Ron.

backer is a solid 5-7 minute end of the bench type...no rush to get him off roster. When this contract expires, let him walk...
