still not a bad deal. kid can play to that level. it was worth keeping him to see what he had. rotation got crowded. he got hurt.

he def needs to rediscover his jumper if he wants to continue his NBA career tho. with the shoulder injury (from that good defense!) it'll be tough.

all that said, i'm not sure ron baker is athletic enough for the likes of this FO. but i could see fizdale loving him for his tenacity. you just need guys with ron baker's mentality.

If his three starts falling he becomes a legit 3 & D guy because there were times when his defense was the only thing keeping this team in a game. Yeah, the team sucked, but he does play disruptive D sometimes

what happened to Knicks loving their subpar mascot players? I scrappy lil Opey Cunningham. He plays harder than almost everyone on the roster and often was one of the few Knicks who played defense. Not mad at him commanding the end of the bench.

That and hes super long and extremely smart defensively with his positioning off ball and getting through screens on ball. He needs to find some sort of niche offensively to be useful though. If he can't shoot or finish at the rim off cuts then he's essentially a shorter Andre Roberson which isn't good enough to play more than 10 minutes a game. I still like Ron though and I think there's an NBA player there he just needs to find it quickly or he'll be in Europe soon enough.
