Seems worthwhile to have this thread as coaching hires and such get made.

Interesting that Nurse got the Raps head gig and Stack ended up with an assistant job. He seemed like he was ready for a head gig from the outside but maybe front offices hadn't yet seen enough.

Obviously the Raptors were trying to save face, so they made Casey the lame scapegoat for a team constructed to win in the regular season but had horrific match up problems against the Cavs. I mean, Kevin Love was DESTROYING Ibaka. Forget Lebron. You got problems when that happens.

Until Toronto re-thinks this roster, it's going to be the SAME result with Boston and Philly replacing Cleveland as their nemesis.

Meanwhile...

Dwane Casey had me, spitting my coffee when he told Stephen A. Smith, "Blake Griffin's Basketball IQ is off the charts!" Pfffttt...he intend on making Blake into a point forward.

I just feel sorry for the Pistons, this is a TERRIBLE hire.

I love Dray...the pride of MSU, once again sticks it to the King. I wonder if he wasn't suspended, does GS win its 4/4 titles?

That said, I can only think of the following:

1. Dray doesn't think highly of Lebron's on court persona much like Demarcus Cousins has zero respect for Chris Paul (see Bill Simmons interview 2-3 seasons ago).

2. Hopefully it inspires Lebron to go out West, leaving the East between Philly and Boston until someone actually gets good.

Yeah it's gonna be bad. Griffin won't take them anywhere. I expect the lottery even.

kinda interesting is that a Griffin/Ibaka based trade would make some sense... Casey is not a great coach and now he basically has a new assistant team so that probably won't go very well.

Probably wants to opt-in and be traded to his next team on draft night (June 21).

Pretty much Lebron is GONE to LA...

The Cavs have to move Kevin Love, Portland (or Toronto West) seems like a great destination for one of their 2 very good guards. Then try to move up in the draft and get a big man.

And to create more cap space the Lakers would send Deng, Lonzo, and filler(s) to the Cavs for Lebron.

Wouldn’t surprise me if the Warriors sign Anthony Davis at some point. Then say goodbye to Dray.

If he is actually deciding (letting them know if he will be back/leaving for sure), then kudos to him for maturing as a person.

I dunno. Why would the Pistons need Ibaka when Andre Drummond does every thing Ibaka can but better?

Remember Ibaka's contract is what made Rich Harden expendable to the OKC Thunder. Talk about terrible. Ibaka, did not become the big man they had hoped.

What's amazing is how the Thunder were able to move his bad contract....

Detroit should work a deal to get them the point guard they have long coveted and Drummond needs.

The Knicks were fun like once every 20 games back then. Good times

I'm loving the off-season your BAF laundry mat is having. RHJ / Sabonis great pickups.

Thanks man. I'm having it fun doing it my way. Trying to turn a paper clip into a house by looking at relative advantages. I think you'll like my next play too :-)

Drummond averaged 16 rebounds per game to Ibaka's 6.3 rebounds per game.

Drummond averaged 1.6 blocks per game to Ibaka's 1.3 blocks per game.

Drummond averaged 15 ppg to Ibaka's 12.3 rpg

That's with half a season, alongside Blake Griffin....

You'd need to think harder on where to take a sh#t than you would comparing these two players.
