Hello to Bunjevac from a Volksdeutscher from Slavonia, or at least my grandparents used to be that.

Good game Croatia!

Congrats Croatia! Congrats Mario!

I always loved Croatia as a country and as a football nation. They had good, technical players for decades. They also had technically skilled basketball players for ages.
I always liked Croatian sportsmen; Goran Ivanisevic, Toni Kukoc, Davor Suker, Hezonja.

They have that typical thing going on: brilliant at times, flegmatic at times.

Been to Croatia five times already. Porec-Dubrovnik-Split-Sibenik-Trogir-Krka Nacionalni park-Plitvice-Pula.

Croatia, land of Kruskovac and Cevapcici, land of islands and national parks. Love it! :)

Go Hrvatska!

Not really. My grandparents are ethnic Germans from a little village near Vukovar., Slavonia - Croatia. They came to Vukovar in 19th century from Swabia. Persecuted after the WWII by the commies, fled to the US. They were helping Croatia financially throughout the war in the 90's, only to visit Croatia last year after god knows how many years.

I'm happy for Croatia!

Definition of an Ungarndeutsche :) Vukovar (Valkóvár) is Srem though, not Slavonia.

Frank and Mario have a slap bet?
Ugly win > Pretty loss
Those who'd rather see their team fail so they can be right are fans of their opinion not the team.

1 horrible call and 1 bad call lol Griezman didn't get fouled for the free kick and Pogba was offside on the play, it should have at least been looked at. Then there was no intention to use his hand on that penalty call, but that call is purely a judgment call so it can be argued forever
