En avant, la France!!

I think they will win it all. :D

Allez les bleus :P The team is very young so I will be surprised to win this World cup this year but they learn for the futures competitions.

Who can stop them? Just a few teams. Uruguay probably can.

Uruguay because they play defense and France hate this type of game. Brazil too in semi final.

Who the heck schedules games on a Friday and non on a Sunday? People have work.... and it's 4 games just put them all on the weekend. And the good ones are on Friday too, don't care too much about the Sat games.

Oh boy. That's a one-sided view right there... :nonono:

Bad teams playing with 9 - 10 men as their last defensive line: the world applauds. great effort.
Good teams try to find a way through that destructive game style: people bash them for holding tha ball.

You'd love to live in Germany. Media here is as bad as the knicks beat writers.

Spain had the lead, so Russia had to attack and Spain was still being super passive so don't blame it on the 9-10 defense line.

Not to mention Spain can move up their players more to the offensive side of the field in this scenario. If your team has the ball that much and couldn't score, that's their problem. I was rooting for Germany and they had the same issue minus one second half and still took a miracle by Kroos for them to win that game.

I cannot disagrre with you. Spain was not persistent enough, lacked ideas and didn't play clever/courageous enough to win. Maybe it's because Pique and ramos played like ****. No defense = no foundation, no trust to play aggressively. But it's not like they wanted to play dull and bragged about it. They where the ones to admit that they didnt deserve to win because they couldn't get through. It is what it is. :)
Once a Knick, always a Knick.

This is rich...

Colombia striker Radamel Falcao accused American referee Mark Geiger of bias in the South Americans' World Cup round-of-16 loss on Tuesday, telling reporters after the match "he always made calls to favour England."

Colombia were whistled for 23 of the game's 36 fouls, and received six of the eight yellow cards in a contentious affair at the Spartak Stadium in Moscow.

Geiger also called a penalty against Colombia midfielder Carlos Sanchez which led to England's only goal during open play. And Falcao expressed his displeasure with what he perceived to be clear favoritism toward the Three Lions.

"I found it peculiar that they put an American referee in this instance," the Monaco man said.

"To tell you the truth, the process leaves a lot of doubts. He only spoke English, some bias was certain. Through small calls he was pushing us [toward] our goal, that was clear for me."

Colombia roughed up England the whole match. It was the only way they could beat England in their view. Worked out for them...not.

If Falcao wants to be mad at somebody, he should look straight at Pekerman. With the lineup Pekerman chose, it was obvious that he didn't believe Colombia could win

Not really. Brazil is a shell of itself that everyone thinks of the glory days of the 1990's and early-2000's.

sure but still a strong side

its amazing how many major nations didn't qualify and even more amazing how many are out early

Germany especially. Spain too.

France might be the biggest nation still standing. With Russia who need to go.

Yeh Brazil absolutely dominated that game but Belgium just finished their opportunities while Brazil literally had about 7 but couldn't finish them
