Blake's handle isn't as good. Allan Houstonish imo

you can keep saying this, you're still way off.

they're nothing alike.

Robinson will play center

Technically, KP will be PF and Knox SF, but those designations are essentially meaningless now

None of these traditional descriptions apply when building long and athletic like this.

Knox clearly is going to be a guy who often starts a play outside the paint and goes inside with one or two steps. And applies to KP too to a lesser degree.

They will both alternate between posting up, driving or shooting over the top of people. Calling them SF or PF doesn't matter any longer.

Robinson is our center at the very least on defense. It is possible FIz schemes Robinson differently on offense, but the same things that apply to KP and Knox on offense also apply to Robinson too. He can flash into the paint for lobs, he'll be our # 1 putback scorer, but we know he has the stroke so basically he can fit into any offensive scheme that suits KP and Knox.

The primary distinction for Knox is he will break down defenses more than the other two, but where they start their sets will probably be completely fluid for all of them and largely situational in nature.

Only thing Knox can’t do is post up. Only thing I haven’t seen.

He'll do it before long, but it still won't be the core of his game anymore than it is for KD. He'll face the basket when he is holding the ball the majority of his possessions. And when he does have his back to the basket, he'll probably spin off guys or step back from them as much as back them down

Knox looks special because all it will take for him many times is one step and full extension. With his length and touch he will get off a lot of shots in a swooping fashion which will be harder to stop than some of his current straight to the rim moves. But even now when he does barrel in he shows a high capacity for drawing fouls which is great

I've seen him post up in college, he's got spin moves into either a drive or a push/floater type shot. I've seen him pass out of it where he's looking over the defense like a QB looks over the line before delivering a pass.... which he was a QB in HS.

It will be awhile before he incorporates it on the pro level but I'm sure he will figure it out eventually even though it's not very advanced. I don't know that it will be a big part of his game but I can see him using it on mismatches where he has the size advantage.

A lot of people probably overlook this aspect, but it means that he's a high IQ passer and a hard worker, playing the most difficult position in football.

Or maybe even K20? He's wet like H20.

He kinda moves like Allan too.

This kid is like some basketball Frankenstein monster.

I see some Klay some PG some Giannis some Allan Hou some Paul Pierce, I could go on. He’s scary impressive.

Safe to say this draft class has lived up to expectations so far and all the lotto teams are happy. But Knox has the potential to be the best of the lot.

This isn’t overhyping a David Lee or Landry Fields or even a Channing Frye or Gallo.

The signs he shows are star quality attributes.
And with that and all that scoring ability he is really raw, they both are to varying degrees of their development. And he’s scoring and getting to the line like a pro.
His shot is pure. He’s longer than advertised and way more athletic. I was a Miles guy but then I really watched everything I could find on the kid. And I 360’d.

People say PG and I see it but the finesse around the basket (he’s just gotta get stronger) is damn near Harden-esque. At a stingy 6’9” and still growing....

It’s scary to think, and yes it’s way early, that he could actually be better than the guys he’s compared to in the long run. Klay ain’t 6’9”, Giannis can’t shoot, Allan didn’t get to the line (until late in his Knick career with the rip throughs), P-Double was never the athlete this kid is. I’m just saying, the Knicks don’t get these kinda players. Other teams do and we wonder why we never get them. This is different. He can be a great one.

I never even thought about using "2K" as a nickname for him.
F'in Genius!

My guy 2K20. Yeah, it's over. It flows too well. I'm using both. 2K & 2K20!

I think the number and him being light skinned maybe plays a trick on people and has them thinking of Houston lol. Houston was a little more athletic in his pre Knicks days but he was never as athletic as Knox currently is. Also Allan was always a shooter first and foremost. His whole game derived from his shooting. Basically I don't see much similarities there beyond some superficial ones.

Durant-lite.....Gets to the rim with long strides...not super athletic but clearly can take contact. Can't wait to see him and KP on the floor together. They are going to be a matchup nightmare...The fact that he is so young is even more exciting for Knick fans.

With Frank, KP, Knox, Mudiay, Robinson etc. The Knicks went from a slow, aging, plodding team, to like a super elite AAU squad in 2 seasons.

When Allan got that contract and really was out to show he deserved it, he expanded his game and tried to post more and put it on the deck some. His handle was always kinda clumsy but he’d usually recover and make a play when he put it on the floor. Or try a behind the back and turn it over off his big arse foots. That’s the Allan I remember outside of that sweet shooting.
Some of Knox’s drives seem like he’s outta control but he’s very effective at not traveling and getting right at the rim, getting fouled or turning the ball over.

Maybe it’s more of a body shape or demeanor thing but it’s definitely more than the light skinneded complexturisms.

I'm just glad someone else sees it. Look at his form on the jumper. But, BUT H20 never had a first step like this guy. Nor was he this strong. Or athletic. DAMN!!
