I'm not buying this. That's a crazy small shoe. That's like old suburban white guy velcro white on whites size.

Yeah, he doesn't wear a size 9, you fools

“He really gets excited off a blocked shot,’’ Scott said. “He covers so much space. He wears a size-13 shoe. Him being that tall, he’s got feet like a guard. He gets to the perimeter quick from the box, so he’s going to block or contest every shot. [His shoe size] is actually a blessing for him.”

I was coming back to say I’m wrong lol. He still has small feet for his size. That was my point.

Yeah, for sure he definitely has small feet relative to the expectations for a basketball player, never mind a 7-footer.

9 though - whew! - that would be some f*cked up looking isht, mang. The first thing I did when I read your post was immediately call up highlights because I had to see the freakshow I had somehow missed during SL. A 7-footer running around in a 12 year old's kicks would have been awesome.

Skinny Shaq Part II

Coach David Fizdale is stunned at his polish after not playing an organized game in 14 months entering summer league.

“Stay out of the way,’’ Fizdale, said, laughing, when asked how he coaches Robinson. “Live with his mistakes. He doesn’t make a lot of them. Most of his mistakes are made when he gets fatigued. But overall the kid actually has a good feel for the game.”

Fizdale said Robinson made some mistakes, such as being out of position or being off balance on his switches.

Overall, Fizdale wasn't concerned.

"He thinks about things, so he comes in and asks great questions to our coaching staff," Fizdale said. "He’s starting to learn how to watch film. I just feel like this kid is going to take off with this kind of structure."

The full quote is even better:

“I think there’s a misconception about this kid because he didn’t go to college that one year that he’s not a smart kid or there’s something wrong with him,” Fizdale said. “Nah, this kid knows how to play. He’s tough. He’s got a great work ethic. He thinks about things, so he comes in and asks great questions to our coaching staff. He’s starting to learn how to watch film. I just feel like this kid is going to take off with this kind of structure.

He might forget where he’s supposed to be on one play or gets off balance on his switches or something like that and the guy gets by him,’’ Fizdale said of Robinson’s mistakes. “But really this kid knows how to play. It has been a pleasant surprise for me to have such a young kid who didn’t play that year of college to come in here and we don’t have to tell him every single thing to do.”

You guys have lost your minds if you’re worried about how big his feet are... WTF?

The dude is the quickest max vert Leaper we’ve ha since amare. When he’s blocking guards’ jumpers out on the perimeter in the summer league that’s all i needed to see to know that his athleticism is extremely rare.

The only question is if he can reach his potential and become something more than just a “Hassan whiteside” kinda player.

Who’s worrying? If anything, his lil kid feet are a being viewed as a positive; as they’ll be easier to slide on the perimeter than if he needed clown shoes.

MRob runs like a deer. Now we know why. He has tiny hoof like feet.

I got nervous for a second! If he wore a size 9 at 7 feet tall something would be seriously wrong with him lol. But yeah, 13 is still pretty small for a 7 footer.

No, of course you didn't. I have no idea why we're worried about the size of his feet. They really do work rather well!
