“He’s going to be our foundation, our anchor of our defense for the future. Let’s get this guy going right now and really commit to the development of these guys and to what it’s going to take to get them to where they need to be for us to be the team we’re going to be later.”

fizdale on nY post...

he says this but benched him from 8 minute mark on last game when we needed stops and Sabonis was eating us inside.

I dont get it.

Either way, I Hope he lets this young guy play and get better. Watching Kanter has been painful.

even though it's from a very low base, mitch's rate of improvement on learning basketball is pretty astounding.

he was like a -40 vs alex caruso pnrs in summer league, then looked really lost early in the season. but he's actually making impact plays on pnr now though with some lapses still.

he was fouling and jumping at everything in summer league, and he still has some short stretches of quick fouls etc. but the improvement is visible and drastic in defensive discipline already.

even on setting picks he's tried to get low and use his long legs to take up more space.

mitch is actually a basketball savant and we should be even more excited.

Is there an "all the blocks" vid for Mitch yet?

I mean, if Jarrett Allen has one....

Mitchell Robinson is going to a beast. He has the one thing every player needs - CONFIDENCE. You can hear it in his interviews. He knows he's going to be really good soon. It's only a matter of time.

Brings up a good question. Who would you take right now, Allen or Robinson.

mitch. higher ceiling.

jarrett is excellent, but i think he's close to what he's going to be. he doesn't get too outside of himself and he's great at his strengths. nets came up with that one.

but money mitch is too intriguing a wildcard with that athleticism. not comparing him to AD, but if he picks up some of them tools... yikes.
RIP magnumt

welcome home, thibs.

mitch knows he belongs. gangsta yute. even the bet on himself instead of school shows me that. it didn't pay on draft day with a lottery rookie deal. but he also didn't risk injury or anything hoofing it for free at WKU.

he doesn't back down. his body will develop. hopefully his tool box expands. we came up HEAVY getting this guy in the second round.
RIP magnumt

welcome home, thibs.
