I'm cool with the pick. Swinging for the fences in this draft. Long term we have no front court depth with KOQ gone, Kanter gone in a year, and Hicks/Kornet stinking. He'll get minutes day 1 w no KP.

In the second round you swing for the fences or go for a guy that will have a niche right away. With Robinson we're definitely swinging for the fences. He's athletic, he got a nice wingspan, and is quick as hell in transition. After that he's a complete question mark, none of us are going to know much about him. However he was highly thought of coming into college before opting out.
Would've preferred Thomas, but I like the Knicks rolling the dice on the potential.
