Do we have to cut somebody now or is Lee gone for a expiring that we will cut?

I agree. The fact that it’s a one year deal hopefully will keep his head straight but he’s super talented. If Fiz is who we think he is....6’8” athletic wing with range that play two through four, 22 years young...he has warts but we are very confident in our coaching and development staff. Clearly.

Welcome SuperMario.

Excellent. This season should be fun.

Bigger story though, Fiz is a legit asset when it comes to recruiting. Players just seem to really want to align themselves with him.

Look at his wife. People in general are drawn to the guy.

Now get THJr, Lee (lance too?) off the roster and we are set.

We will get all the busts from the 2015 draft class, Winslow next?

Still need to get rid of Noah and Lee too. So still got some work to do.

Should be interesting at the 3 and 4 spots. Defense is a question mark laterally at the 3 and size wise at the 4. Ah well.... it's another nice reason to tune in for entertainment.

team option. lol.

hezonja is here to beasley. show out and get paid, not lock into a cheap deal.

Yep...which is why I hate one year deals. Entertainment wise I love the deal though. Hezonja should offer some competition and depth with Knox at the 3/4. Defense is ever the question mark, but trust in Fiz.

nice now trade Lee to memphis for Jaymychal Green and cap filler.

Yessir. I've been on the JaMychal train for a while.

gotta think Fiz has a good relationship there and he would be a perfect 4 next to KP in the future and is a good rebounder.

Memphis just trade JJJ and wants to clear minutes for him and needs a starting wing desperately. I can see it.

Almost feels like Knicks collecting restoration projects to see if anyone surprises and if they don't who cares... Tank on.

Perfect, one year deal on a kid with plenty of upside who needed a change of scenery. They're really putting faith in Fiz with this roster.

This is a one year roster filler player who to date has been a bust. Not much of an indication of anything.

Didn't really get much time until the last year, but he has good vision, shaky handles (but better than his 1st/2nd years, doesn't lose it going to the basket all the time), athleticism doesn't really translate on the court. Underrated rebounder, I think he will be a good scorer and shooter in the league with a bit of freedom.

I think he has really good upside. Not star level, but something like a Hedo Turkoglu-lite if he was to play that sort of role.

Best position?

PF?
SF?
SG?

Smallball pf or sf IMO

Last question (no promises)

Could he hang as a starter for 30 minutes at PF, or is he more a swing PF/SF off the bench, seeing that amount of time, but needs to be at SF a bit during the game so as to not be destroyed on defense?

I'm personally fine with that. It's not about starting but about minutes and fit. Also, he'll probably greatly reduce LFT's* minutes.

LFT* = Lance F*cking Thomas

The Magic goofed with Oladipo. Hopefully they did the same with Hezonja
