Is around 100 PPG. Feels accurate.

see this:

Very easy to see how Knox can get 15.

trey burke is not putting up 17. and KP will be back.

8 sounds like a lot for robinson this year, especially with kanter in the fold.

if knox did 15 ppg that would be astounding.

15 is possible. is the number that important ? do i expect them to make him the 1st option on the 1st day of the season though ? no. but if he comes out hot right away he can take it. like i said, he has to earn it.

He is fearless. We have not drafted an alpha scorer like this in decades.

He wants the ball and knows what to do with it. He's just gifted and he knows it and isn't shy about going for it from day one.

The points have to come somewhere JVG. Can you show me where?

I won’t include KP since I don’t know if/when he comes back. Lee is also likely a goner.

Man I would rather under promise than oversell especially when it comes to rookies. Right now though the view looks pretty good.

Number isn't hugely important. The questions of what he can do now and what the coaching staff will allow him to do are more important. I think he can earn the PT to get significant numbers but the other piece is that if he has the time he's gonna be getting a lot of shots. Really, only Timmy demands the ball like he does at this time. And that's, you know, Timmy. To the other point, I don't think Fiz sits him if he can score given what management has laid out about development.

You could start to see it in summer league, he's going to be handling the ball a lot. Hell, we already know that Fitz wants the person rebounding to bring the ball up the floor. With his slashing ability one can imagine that Fitz wants to use that more. I think he scores at least 15 easy.

We don't know exactly how Fiz is going to prioritize the scorers in his offense, but he has said repeatedly that he likes long players who can play multiple positions. Knox is both, so if he continues to assert himself, work hard, and isn't a total liability on defense, he will see plenty of minutes and have a large role.

Unless he gets benched for poor defense, Hardaway will likely begin the season as the #1 option, based both on his tendency to force shots and his seniority. Kanter, Knox, and potentially Burke (depending on who Fiz ultimately goes with as the starter) will be the next tier. But by mid-season Knox could be #1, so 14-15 ppg isn't out of the question. I think 19-20 is probably unrealistic though.

Fiz is going to ask Knox to score and create. He's creating Giannis that can score. Heard it here first. S comfortable in pick and roll. Wait until he starts manipulating it. Summer league guys staying with shooters.

Nets don't have enough cap space to make the deal straight up. It would likely involve Carroll.

Lee/Hardaway much better than that crap....

he needs to STFU then and let perry run the show.

Mills running the show...signing hardaway/baker and almost trading for Ryan Anderson's contract

Perry running the show trading for a pick that landed mitchel robinson and drafting Knox

at that point why not just stretch Melo and keep the pick?

It's easy to focus on Knox being the main scorer while KP and Hardaway fit in behind him, but maybe the most interesting and less focused-on idea is that Mitch can chase the perimeter and play more mobile D while KP just protects the rim.

Whatever will be will be with Knox and KP as far as their skills and willingness to carry the scoring load, but Fiz will need to figure out ways to maximize quite a bit of length and put people in the right places defensively.
