Still looking to clear a roster spot.

JR Smith (shot 40% from 3 in the sim, nearly 38% IRL) costs you less than 1% of your cap and is available for a heavily protected 2nd round pick.

Nogueira also available.

(Any move will have to wait until bish returns)
ATL
Jamal Murray / Mike Conley / Dyson Daniels
Jordan Clarkson / Christian Braun / Brice Sensabaugh
Rui Hachimura / Pat Connaughton
Pascal Siakam / Isaiah Jackson / Reggie Bullock
Myles Turner / JaVale McGee / Cody Zeller

I ended last season with:
C: C. Capela / J. Henson / Nene / M. Leonard
PF: KAT / B. Portis / N. Vonleh
SF: J. Jackson / L. Connaughton / K. Singler
SG: L. Kennard / J. Hart / N. Stauskas
PG: M. Smart / D. Jones

I enter the 2018-19 season with:
C: C. Capela / N. Vonleh / Nene
PF: KAT / B. Portis / M. Muscala
SF: T. Harris / D. Brooks / N. Stauskas
SG: M. Smart / J. Hart / D. Melton
PG: J. Murray / R. Rondo / E. Okobo

Imo I made strong improvements in the areas I consider Miami had serious problems: the Point Guard and Small Forward positions + spreading the floor/shoot creation. Miami's roster was built this offseason to give me flexibility to change my starting 5 according to the lineup of my opponents. I can start a small ball or a big lineup depending on each opponent. I was able to have this flexibility by adding depth to my bench, imo I have one of the deepest (if not the deepest) rosters in the East.

I think the only 2 players I kept were Noel and Gortat

Got 3 firsts and a truckload of 2nds though, so we'll see how that plays out

Overall not a bad offseason, though a bit quiet recently. Main goal for me was to retain as much cap space as possible for flexibility and I feel like I've accomplished that.

Made a risky and controversial move to flip the 6th pick to Hoffa. Needed to get more talent while also freeing up some space for my other picks this year. Also took a gamble on acquiring Buddy Hield.

Added a few pieces in the draft and made a couple 1-year signings to audition with the squad this upcoming season.

It's about progress and flexibility for my team. Let's see if that works out.

The two phone calls provided surreal moments for Tobias Harris, leaving him in a state of euphoria.

In early April, Harris was asked to participate in the minicamp for Team USA, which could lead to a spot on the 2020 Olympic basketball team.

“Just to be selected with that group of guys, that was huge. When I got the call, you can never prepare for that. But it was a huge accomplishment and an amazing feeling to get that call.”

He received a call this month from the Clippers asking if he was interested in signing an $80-million extension.

“I think that as a player you never know, but just to get that offer was an amazing feeling,” Harris said. “For me, I’m a kid who puts everything into the game and to have an organization come to me with that offer and to be able to present that was a really big accomplishment. It showed that the team valued me as a player.”

This summer was about “fine-tuning” every aspect of his game with Clippers assistant coach Sam Cassell in New York.

Cassell had Harris view film on how certain players performed in certain situations.

They watched how Paul Pierce and Allan Houston worked in the mid-post. Harris, on his own after Cassell departed, studied how Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan used their footwork to their advantage, moved in the post and consistently hit fade-away jumpers.
