OT: Twitter Thread on 3 Decades of Russian & Mafia Relationships with Trump

Post#1 » by Clyde_Style » Thu Aug 2, 2018 8:57 pm

The thread of comments that follow this tweet are a valuable resource for understanding Trump's long-standing involvement with Russia (and the Mafia) since the mid-80's when he was first cultivated by the Soviets and Trump made his first trip to Russia in 1987 at the Russian state's expense. The cultivation of Trump has been a long game process going back over thirty years.

If you are not a Twitter user, just click on the date line in the tweet below and it will take you to the thread and the comments that follow it.

It is worth reading regardless of orientation though. With the many supporting articles linked in that thread, it is at least a valuable experience for anyone who actually cares to understand how these relationships and connections originated.

Trump's father was heavily wired into the New York Mafia and so was his son Donald.

It was not a direct line from American mobsters to Eastern European mobsters operating with state sponsorship. That happened due to Donald's inability to stay solvent with any business he started.

He blew through billions of American credit lines and became persona non grata with American lenders and had to go abroad to get financing to stay afloat. That led him straight into the arms of Russian financiers. He has been owned by them since.

They usually start around then, but it'll take another page to get really bad

Also, always interesting is how many people I never see post comment on anything political, usually in support of the pres

It's like they have some kind of alert that lets them know about political threads as soon as they appear

Roy Cohn was one of the sleaziest people who ever walked the earth.

Did you know that even though Trump considered Cohn to be a father figure, when Cohn was dying from complications from AIDS Trump didn't even go to visit him in the hospital?

One of the least known Trump-Russia connections is Mark Burnett.

Burnett had a deal made with the Kremlin to shoot a reality show on the Russian space station, but it had to be cancelled due to mechanical issues that ultimately brought it out of orbit. That was 2000 and as recently as 2013 he tried to revive the idea.

Mark Burnett Pitching New Space-Themed Reality Show

https://www.tvguide.com/news/mark-burnett-space-reality-show-1070686/

QUOTE:

"Burnett uncharacteristically declined comment. But it's no secret that the tenacious producer has long hoped to mount a reality show about space, going back to 2000, when he first sold the show Destination Mir to NBC. At the time, the Peacock network agreed to pay Burnett between $35 million and $40 million for Destination Mir, which included the nearly $20 million that Burnett agreed to pay MirCorp — the company that held the lease to Mir."

and then in 2015 came this news:

Mark Burnett Pursuing Vladimir Putin as Next Reality TV Star

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/mark-burnett-pursuing-vladimir-putin-804454

So this guy goes from producing The Apprentice to talking about making Putin a reality TV star

You cannot make this stuff up. These are all facts.

The connections between Trump, Burnett and Putin are undeniable.

Burnett is sitting on tapes of Trump saying far more shocking things than grabbing pussies for reasons that go beyond mere contractual obligations to keep silent. These people have all been in bed together prior to the campaign.

Manafort is on trial # 1 this week and it is moving very fast so expect the first conviction to be handed down this month.

Rick Gates is Manafort's partner in crime and turned stated witness. He was in the room when Donald Trump verbally approved the meeting in Trump Tower with the Russians for the hand-off of stolen data. Michael Cohen was in the room too.

That's two corroborating witnesses who can identify Trump as being a 100% willing collaborator with a foreign power to rig the election. That's treason. There is no escaping that now, it is just a matter of time.

Further, Donald Jr. lied during testimony to congress that his father knew nothing about the meeting. So Donald Jr. will go to prison also unless he turns on his father.

We've already reached the turning point in the investigation and it is turning into prosecution now, so it is happening.

Honestly regardless of 'what side you're on' the amount of corruption and things being dismissed during Trumps presidency is really astounding. Obama's 'scandals' were stupid stuff like birth certificates which he would end up proving, and stuff like that. Trump on the other hand has been called out on so many scandals, and has made so many out of touch comments such as needing ID to buy groceries??? (the man obviously hasn't gone grocery shopping for himself ever).. its just amazing how much he can get away with and how much the right-wing media is willing to dismiss.

Its honestly really scary right now the state the US is in from a moral standpoint.
