So if they were next to the water couldn't mera just used her power to attack Manta during that chase scene?

Also I hope WB can build there universe without putting too much emphasis on Batman and Superman since Cavill and Affleck are gone. Marvel was able to do it without Wolverine and Spiderman and making Hulk a supporting cast member, despite those 3 being historically marvel's most popular characters.

DC has so many good characters, I would like to see other justice league characters carry the DCEU for a little while then bring back Batman and Superman into focus later.

I'm honestly intrigued by what I've seen of the newest batch of DC movies

It looks like they're leaning more into the fantastical elements of their products, and actually using colors other than grey for once, but at the same time, this whole thing is just a mess from a meta perspective

I don't think they can do a hard reset, cause asking fans to forget the past few movies and start a whole new universe from scratch while Marvel's a decade in and reaching their climax is a tough sell, and DC does have some good parts of the DCEU

What I think they should do is Flashpoint, but have him jump into a relatively similar universe with the baseline heroes already established. Like WW's origin is the same, we don't need another Batman origin, keep the better parts if they work but just scrap the parts that don't, like comics do all the time

If Cavill and Affleck want out, this'd be a good way of replacing them while you could keep Gadot, Momoa, whoever works, and just chalk it up to some things are different in this universe, some are the same

With no star wars movie this holiday season and Jason Momoa's charismatic depiction of this character I can see this movie bringing in a lot of money for WB.

Been a fan of Momoa since Khal Drogo. And I don't think fans care if its DC or Marvel or any other outlet, as long as the movie is promising. Super hero movies are a genre not a brand.

I assume ppl would see “cartoon” and automatically pass, but the DC animated movies are a 100x better than their movies.

This was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. I’m a DC fan. I’m hoping for a good flick.

Uh oh. I hope this isn't one of those movies that gets good reviews but the fans hate it like the superman movie with Brandon routhe. How did you get to see it early?

It was a Michael BAy style film without the hot women and comedy
