Throw in one max free agent and I'm very happy.

Knox at the 3 is a no no for our future, but I guess for Zion maybe. Barrett should fit smoothly at the 3 tho.

I think fit wise, Barrett makes the most sense but the idea of having Zion/KP/Mitch flying around the court in groups of two or all three at once is just epic.

The depressing reality is that Tommy will likely be our starting SG for 2 more seasons after this.

Hardaway does have to base his game on his scoring. He's a 2 guard. That's his metric. Are you scoring efficiently. And he's forced into a number one role. He has to score. Hardaway has also been trying on defence. Not succeeding, but trying. That's what you need.

Even Dotson, if he keeps playing the way he as been, should be enough to push THJ out of the starting lineup by next season. I'm with whocares when he says Knox at the 3 might not be the best route to take. He's got the size but he doesn't have the lateral quickness to guard 3's. His movements are almost KAT like and the same way KAT can't really play the 4, I don't think Knox is the ideal fit at 3. Slide Knox over to the 4 and move KP to the 5. If we're lucky to get Cam Reddish he would be ideal at the 3. Tank again next year and try to land Cole Anthony (yeah I know I'm gassing myself at this point, we know it's not happening) but still that would be a squad

Cole Anthony
Damyean Dotson
Cam Reddish
Kevin Knox
Kristaps Porzingis

I've gone Besart
DENVER NUGGETS
Kyrie Irving/Josh Green/Dennis Schroder
Demar Derozan/Gordon Hayward/Amir Coffey
Torrey Craig/Gary Harris/Cedi Osman
Jarace Walker/Larry Nance Jr./Dominick Barlow
Xavier Tillman/Charles Bassey/Nick Richards

Ideally he wouldnt be on the roster and we could start Dotson at the 2.

It was more long term. He is not the guy I would want starting and paying $18-$20mil per for the next 2+ years. But cause we are paying him so much money we are likely stuck with him as a starter.

Exactly. Tim Hardaway is a starting level shooting guard in the NBA. He is very good. He is not a first option, but he is forced to play it for this team. Put two scorers ahead of him and everybody is cheering TIMMAY! Instead of TOMMY!

Also if anyone else that we have or acquire proves to be a better option.

Observation around the league is that Year 3 is usually when these big contract guys stop getting unmerited playing time. He should be a bench spark by next year, imo.

Generally agreed but I would put him as a sparkplug/6th man for a very good to great team.

So, yeah, he starts for us for a minute still.

The team is fine... we won't win much at all this year... I still say 15 to 20 games... but we will be competitive.
I Like what I see defensively.... I want to see THJ grow more.. become more efficient... he should want to become or go to an All-Star level
Unlike most I honestly don't think he is far off. THJ has the potential too.

Disappointed in what I see in Frank... but like I said last year .... it's going to take 2 to 3 yrs before he starts to show us the goods. Still think he is not a full time NBA point guard... and will end up more like a Caris Levert type. He needs to start shooting the ball and attacking the basket.

Burke shot needs to start falling... he is getting good looks just not hitting them. I like what I see in Kanter... Hez is disappointing, he has potential but dammit man. SMH....Doston playing well, Trier and Knox need to both slow down on offense and focus on defense.... Baker I never liked... why is he on the team again? Can't shoot or dunk.... SMH! LOL

M. Robinson needs to be let loose.... seriously

Dammit Trade Lee and Thomas already....

Play M.Rob more...

That would be great. Is that your observation or are there others who have said as much?

RJ is hopefully a 3. Romeo is a 2 but Barret would be a wing.

RJ can play both. You can roll Frank/RJ/Knox/KP/Mitch

if you land Durant you could go Frank/RJ/Durant/Knox/KP

if you land Middelton you could go Frank/Middelton/RJ/Knox/KP

he would be interchangeable at the 2/3....he would just be a playmaking wing that could defend both spots.
