I laughed initially when I saw the picture, but then I realized I think its purposeful - there'd be a really strong argument to take it down if they used actual likenesses. Obviously the numbers, heights, and skin tones all match, as well as the initials, but I don't think it even gets approved by the company putting it up if they used actual likenesses due to The Right of Publicity.

EDIT: And there were obviously better ways to get around this issue than using a 5th grader at PS 175.

The billboard is corny as hell man. So was the LeBron one.

Why are we miserable because we don’t like a tacky billboard that you would see in some second rate city like Cleveland or Minnesota? This is New York City. We don’t need lame billoboards to sell anyone on anything. The whole thing is corny as hell and ain’t convincing anyone to sign here anyway.

Talk about a waste of money, resources, and if anything...based on the success of luring Lebron, I’m pretty sure Durant is thinking, “Who failed graphic design and placed a horrible traced image of me, colored me with the paint bucket on photoshop 2.0 and stood me next to Chris Mullin?!?!”

I dont know if its me but lately I started to make this analogy in every facet of my life.
Here it goes: Its like making a move to a girl.
You simply dont want to look desperate.
You should act chill show that you have potential and stuff. Then on right time make the move with a good opener. Not like this ****.

Btw I guess this is just ad.
The thing I didnt like in the picture is height difference. KD never looks that small. Even against Boban Marjanovic I dont think he'd look that small.

Such a sense of entitlement from a team that hasn't won anything in over 40 years. Granted, this billboard isn't the Knicks' doing but it's just a bad reflection on this fanbase.

I thought the team and the fanbase would've recognized after the 2010 Lebron fiasco that it's best to let the play on court aid in trying to sign FA's. There's no doubt he'll be receiving a lot of cheers tonight which disgusts me being a fan of this team.
