John Wall for the Knicks

Post#1 » by WigginsNation » Sat Nov 10, 2018 2:43 pm

The knicks should consider trading for him. He’s got that NY personality and he’s marketable. A John Wall/KP duo would give the NY fans something to cheer about and make NY somewhat relevant again. The NBA world is rooting for you guys. John Wall on the Knicks would be a match made in heaven!

No thanks.... 40 millions per year next year, not a FP and lots of problems in lockeroom. the type of player to avoid.

I'd rather pour beer on my penis than entertain a "me first" prick like John Wall with a dreadful contract on the Knicks.

Like jimmy butler I don't think he shoots the ball well enough to be an alpha on a championship team.

You guys are really underestimating Wall. He’s great on both ends of the floor and he’ll get you into the playoffs. Him and KP together would be killer!

If not him how about Beal? Wiggins is another player that’s attainable!

If you’re going to be a high usage guard, you have to be an elite outside shooter and passer. Combine that with his personality and contract and it makes this an easy decision.

And some folks on here get mad at the idea of giving Kemba a 4 year deal starting at 32.4M lol

Wall for $22 million maybe. For more than a third of your cap, never made a conference finals, has a surgery every offseason, attitude sucks is just insane. Wizards are doomed unless they can pull a Clippers and dump him.

Hell no. Wall is absolutely one of the most overrated players in the NBA. Want no part of him.

Wall hasn't been great on defense in years.

As for Beal, I really like him and would probably do THJ plus Knox or our FRP for Beal; but I wouldn't add more than one premium piece to upgrade Timmy to Beal.

Wiggins has actually been turning me this year. He's really come under Jimmy's wing and is giving the kind of effort that he wasn't as KAT's lieutenant. I still want no part of that contract, but it's not as hideous as it looked in the summer.

Why would we trade for a player in the middle of a season when we have a chance for a top pick?

Just wait til the offseason, try to sign a max FA, if we can't, try and trade for a star for peanuts, if not just roll it over to the next year

Also, we already have threads for this kinda stuff. Without a source saying we're interested or there's talks, it doesn't warrant its own thread
BaF Lakers:

Darius Garland/Cory Joseph
Klay Thompson/Shaedon Sharpe
Keldon Johnson/De'Andre Hunter
Evan Mobley/Tari Eason
Nic Claxton/Draymond Green

Bench: Leonard Miller, Jett Howard, Markquis Nowell, Kennedy Chandler, Day'Ron Sharpe

Return to New York Knicks
