I figure Mitch, Knox, Dot, THjr, Frank is how it washes out.

I dont think its worth reading into.
This doesn't seem like he is saying anything at all.
He would "ideally" like to get it setup by 25 games but is "open to tweaking it."

I don't see Vonleh losing that spot. I wonder if they aren't quietly shopping THJ...

Robinson/Vonleh
Vonleh/Hezonja
Knox/Hezonja/Dotson
Doston/Trier
Frank/Trier/Mudiay

This makes sense to me.

He can change his mind if he wants to. What would be stopping him? This whole season should be an audition and developmental season. That's not to say that a win or two along the way wouldn't be good for development of our young players' confidence level. They would.

I bet money by game 25 Kanter is starting again and starts for the rest of the season.

OT:Jamal Murray will move to the bench against the Hawks on Thursday.

Coach Mike Malone talked about possibly starting Monte Morris, but it's a surprise it comes over Jamal Murray. The Blue Arrow has been logging minutes next to Morris and they'll undoubtedly see time together tonight, so Murray should still be somewhat close to 30 minutes. This could be a chance to buy low on Murray.

What makes people think Knox can handle the power forward position in the NBA?
He’s a wing for the time being.

This makes sense to me.

This line-up would struggle to cross halfcourt with the lack of ball-handling. Having Frank as your primary ball-handler and decision-maker with no fallback option is a disaster waiting to happen.

I don't think Knox has the footspeed to play the 3 (at least not yet). He's struggling to score efficiently, sliding down a position will only hurt his percentages.

Would be good for the tank though.

At this point, I have a hard time taking Fiz at his word. Dude seems to double-talk a lot.

so that unit is basically playing teams even in the 1st quarter. pretty good for the youngest starting lineup in the league i would say. and with only 1 semi-decent offensive option in tommy boy.

does fiz not realize in ny that people will fact check what u say ? this aint memphis fizzy mowack

Reading the extended quote makes it so much worse.

Every single word of that is bullsh*t.

The fact that he keeps touting that he and his staff pore over advanced stats to measure the effectiveness of the lineups makes his reasoning even more nonsensical.

They might have won more games if he didn't do things like leave Tammy on Levert or bench the starters for Burke and Kanter until a double digit lead became a double digit deficit against the Warriors.

Also if I may compliment that information with, the Frank/Mitch/Chuck/Voldamort/Dotson lineup weren't even expected to beat those over .500 teams anyways nevermind the fact, the line up changes haven't improved the Knicks odds of beating teams like the Thunder, Raptors, etc.

If anything, Coach Fizzles damaged the confidence of young players. I guess Marc Gasol's Euro-curse really messed his mind up. Kanter can order a pizza from the bench and Fizzles will serve.
