Who's Your Man if we Stay at #5?

Post#1 » by malik959 » Tue Dec 18, 2018 2:51 am

If the Duke boyz go 1-4 (wont include any other player), who is your man crush at #5 if we were to seal that spot?

My choice would be to go with Ja Morant. He's the type of guard we've been craving for years and would light up the Garden. He reminds me a lot of Fox when he was in Kentucky: Athleticism, great passer, court control, can take over a game at anytime, good defense, not a selfish guard. Pairing him with KP, Mitch, Knox, and frank would be nasty (not including any free agents here.)

The thing is if we are the 5th worst team, we probably end up picking 6th. Wondering if Morant lasts that long with the Suns and Bulls potentially looking at PG's too.

We have a draft thread where we talk about this stuff every day.

But anyway Barrett is my pick, I just feel he's the safest bet to be a great player. But he won't be there at 5th. I'm going with Morant if he's even there.

I understand Bro, just wanted to see where everyone stands after the first quarter. No harm no foul.

Morant, Frank, Knox, KP, Mitch lineup with a Trier 6th man role, and this core has a bright future.

As long as Frank can fix his catch and shoot 3pt shot, he'll be an excellent fit in this lineup. The only question mark is whether or not KP can play the 4 longterm.
