Anyone watching his documentary. Wow. Always heard and saw stuff but never in this detail and so much more than I had originally thought. Don’t really know what else to say

Actually watching it right now, one part of me doesn’t see the big deal because the world has known about this for 20+ **** years and still nothing has happened to him, the other part is shocked at the stuff I’m hearing in detail.

The second episode, Hiding in Plain Sight, is a doozy good lord. That tour bus 3sum with Sparkle’s 14 yr old niece, the control he had on his ex wife, Jesus Christ.

Will I stop listening to R Kelly tho? Nope.

Step in the Name of Love, Body Callin’, etc, I love music and Kellz makes great goddamn music. I’m not gonna stop because the new fad is to dislike him now.

He’s a terrible human being, great musician, it is what it is.

I remember when people got mad and basically saidnI was the problem when I wrote on here that society cares about talent more than morality. Of course the guy who said that still roots openly foe Dotson so you know ...

I feel the same way as you. We knew in 1991 or so when he took Aaliyah across state lines to marry her at age 15. No reason to be shocked now.

A more equivalent example would be 'If Hitler had a pizza place, and you loved it, and then he turned out to do those terrible things, are you a nazi for liking his pizza?

Terrible analogy. You wouldn’t be a nazi for liking his pizza. A better analogy would be that you’d be a messed up person if you knew he was nazi but continued to support his business by buying his pizza.

Surviving R. Kelly. It’s on the Lifetime channel.

Also, I can’t listen to most of his music especially as I wonder if he’s alluding to sexual acts with underage women on all his songs.

12 play - yeah
Aaliyah age ain’t nothin but a number - yeah
I believe I can fly - deeper meaning of god complex????
