I wouldn't think so but sometimes I just argue ****.

Demps ain’t the one to argue for though.
He was the dumb ass responsible for the CP3 trade.

Would be something if Stern comes off of whatever he's doing to GM the Pels....

Now that AD is amenable to go with any team trade-wise/FA, hopefully he goes somewhere other than the Knicks IMO

this is just damage control after his agent made an extremely aggressive move that got a lot of blowback around the league. dont' think his plans have changed at all just the timing.

the basic situation is that nba owners got pissy that a player was making moves to drastically affect his value as a trade asset and thereby steer trade to his preferred destination.

Argued against or for what? Demps? Refresh my memory. I don't think so.

Only thing I've argued for or against in the Pels thing is whether or not to do the trade etc. I think I was for it - pretty sure I was ok moving the decent number of assets it was going to/going to take to get AD, and now I'm basically against it.

Unless Perry comes up with some steal methodology where he keeps Mitch/Trier, one of Frank/DSJr, All Knicks picks besides the 2019 (have to figure that's a center piece) and only 1 of the mavs pieces.

Knox/DSJr/2019 #1/Mavs #1

Even for this, while it's a steal for the Knicks - which won't happen, I'd be wary to do. Anyway, moot point - that's not enough to get AD
DSJr is in the trade not because I like Frank or think he's better, just based on the assumption that it's Kyrie and KD coming to the Knicks, and it makes a theoretical trade stronger for the Pels. In effect it's the Knicks 2016/2018/2019 #'1s, and a Mav's #1 in, what year? 2023?

It was about how bad Demps has been. You didn’t argue against it at all.

All star weekend keeps getting worse by the year, and it has been downright awful even before 2000, which was a very rare exception.

Thanks Vince, you're a legend.

PS: LeBron announced he'd play a lot longer. Another all time low.

It's getting harder and harder to want to watch the All Star game. These are the "best" players in the league trying to look great without playing great. The games are horrible, and I cringe watching their lackadaisical attitude. Maybe it's time to rethink what we're doing and create some real mid-season tournament with real benefits for playing well. This year, the only thing worse than this game was the rising stars game.

Just want to say that Max Kellerman is my new least favorite sports personality by a long shot. Dude is just so annoying. Plays the part of the impoverished Knick fan and turns it up to 11 and takes every single opportunity to trash the Knicks.

Good to see Burke playing well in limited mins. He got unfairly criticized here because he played ahead of Frank

That's not why he got criticized

I criticized him because he was a terrible defender, only really ever ran plays for himself or Tim, and his offensive game revolved around his ability to hit mids and long 2s at an unsustainable rate, which when it dropped off like everyone knew it was going to, he became a negative player

But if you want to create strawmen, that's your prerogative
