I understand their is a lot of coping going on here, the denial phase if you will, but the reality is this: those picks will not be lottery picks, they aren't worth much, Dennis Smith Jr is a decent prospect but nothing that special. So basically you traded your 23 year old franchise for cap space, a problem that was created by this incompetent front office in the first place. There is no secret plan, there is no long term game here guys, it's just the Knicks being the **** Knicks, like they have been for the last 20 **** years.

Pretty much a good deal for Perry in his very first Blockbuster of his career:
• TWO future 1sts
• DSJ
• Unloaded the Albatross Contracts of THJr AND CLee jn one fell swoop deal WITHOUT adding Salary. Effectively clearing about $40+ Million in additional Salary.

I'm with you. Mags and I are going to go get a drink while the rest of you whine yourselves to sleep

Hey bro, count me in with you guys... I absolutely think this trade is a WIN   First rounds on me :)

Yeah its not too bad now that the info is fully out(except for WHICH 1st rounders)..

I was pissed at first because of the shock of losing KP..

But I guess it really sets us up nicely for the future and KPs contract never lined up nicely for what we wanted to do anyways.

ESPECIALLY considering he apparently didn't wanna be here and was gonna sign the QO so..

Nah, just an observation. Mostly just want to get mpharris to lose the rest of what's left of the little amount of hair he has on his head.

This sucks so bad, but at the end of the day with all of the hope that he'd re-up after signing a big free agent that nagging suspicion has always been in the back of our minds that he would take the QO and walk. I've always seen him as a spur for some reason.

Can people stop quoting the picture post and saying "please stop quoting". It's like signing Timmy and then using KP to trade away Timmy all over again.

They'll probably just trade Timmy back to the Knicks (he always has a home here  ) so we can raise his salary and give him an extended no-trade deal. :banghead:

What are you believing in, exactly?

The Knicks have one, maybe two players, I consider worth anything. Zero untradeable players.

And a draft pick that may or may not be outside the top 3 (and it will be out of it we play Deandre and Wes).

The Knicks have nothing to sell anyone. Nothing at all.

Long term I like this. Short term this team just suddenly got a LOT more fun to watch the rest of the season. -Especially if Kanter's floor smooch was the last time we ever see him.

Trade everybody while they still have value for pics so the Knicks go into next season with a hundred million dollars in cap space 28 pics over the next 3 years
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

I would be SHOCKED, if KD joins the Knicks AFTER WINNING another championship with your Warriors. However, if the Warriors don't win another championship at the end of the season, then I think KD to the Knicks is possible.

The Rivalry in our Minds Only with the Boston Celtics starts tomorrow.

We'll see how it all shakes out. Weird to trade KP but KP is weird. That much unfortunately became obvious. He's not humble enough for my liking. Him and his weird brother doing weird stuff, acting like they own the joint even though he really really hasn't shown much to qualify him as some great big. Get off my team.
