Lee didn't really help the Knicks wins games, his contract helped prevent the Knicks from recruiting stars in FA, and KP had to be attached to his contract to move it, but boy was he a guy who played basketball for the Knicks.

Solid pro, good to see you go to a team where someone will feed you the ball for those 5 open jumpers you'll know down a game.
And thanks for leaving and that 11 million in cap space.

Re: Courtney Lee Appreciation Thread
Courtney Lee always was and is still a class act and a "team first" kinda guy. Always took his DNP-CD like a true professional, never caused an ounce of trouble, never once complained.
I'm wishing big things for him and hopefully, he can latch on to a true contender and get that ring.
STANDING "O" FOR COURTNEY LEE!!!

no complaints from me regarding C. Lee. played defense, hit the 3, was a great locker room guy. hopefully he gets healthy this season and contributes for a solid team soon!

Courtney, as long as your playing with KP, I can't root for you. But I will for the next team you join.

Re: Courtney Lee Appreciation Thread
Lee is the true professional basketball player, thanks for your service although the timing is somewhat wrong.
I would always welcome him to rejoin the Knicks after this current contract is over and in a smaller deal. Professionalism is nearly extinct nowadays so that alone deserves a contract.

Are you fans of the team or the player?

Lee is a rotation player on a playoff team but soldered on without complaint despite getting little to no playing time. Respect.

Handled everything like a true professional and actually wanted to come play for us when a lot of player didn't. I know he made a lot of money but it still seemed genuine.

Would love to sign him in 2 years for vet min. Would be great team player if we are contending for championship ala David West.

He is a dying breed. A real pro on an off the court.
