Nikola Vucevic as a Plan B?
He's balling out this season and his defense has improved along with his passing. If we strike out on the big boys, maybe grab him for 2-3 years at a reasonable rate to play in front of Mitch.
What other plan B or plan C guys are worth looking at if they can be had for reasonable/fair movable contracts?
Thoughts?

No, I'd rather sign nobody or make a trade and absorb a contract or 2 for some picks OR trade some assets for a good player and absorb some money using our cap.
But signing guys the caliber of Vucevic when you have a poor roster does nothing for the team. All it does is burden you. You might as well tank again in 2020 if that's the case.

He’s a beast but nah I’m good. Keep it moving. If we strike out just keep building through the draft and one year deals.

Orlando is gonna max him. I honestly see Perry stockpiling picks, getting young players, and taking in bad contracts if we fail.

Re: Nikola Vucevic as a Plan B?
Nah, he doesn't fit the style of play Fiz seems to want.
If they strike out on the star FA's, I'd only sign players on 1 year deals; similar to what Lakers doing with KCP. He's a solid player who can help a team, but he's taken 2 1 year deals that paid him a higher annual salary

I honestly don't think they want to keep him. Good numbers, not a long term winning player at an elite level. If you're a big that can't play defense, you better be jokic good on the offensive end as a playmaker...he's not.
